not really he is just some crazy nice bastard, and that makes people hate on him, but look at this shit, he is representing rolling to the fullest, on an event where people is clearly not expecting rollerblading. I used to hate him for the shit he did on that stupid LG series, but I know a friend who knows him and said he is just crazy and that he is the nicest guy, just got pissed off, but thats all.

Actually, people hate Alfano because he got in a huge strop at one of the LG championships because he didn’t come first, acting very unprofessionally (poruing his water out, giving the fingers, mooning the camera etc) and effectively disrespecting the judges, the contest and the winner, Franky Morales.
Nobody disrespects his skills. They disrespect him for being a douche and making our “sport” or whatever you like to call it look VERY bad to a very large TV audience.

I don’t care who the person is and for the shitty stupid mistakes they’ve made in their life, we all made terrible mistakes. Regardless, anyone who can throw down a 1260 is fucking core to me. With or without style that was sick. Respect from me.
Did you see the audience, their were a few people, but not a whole lot. I wish we were able to be apart of or something similar to Danny Way’s MegaRamp. Then everyone, would give us mad respect.

I completly agree . A stylish 360 beats a 1260 not so stylish . Plus, the grind beats the gap . My opinion .

Well the first time I saw him, the part that stuck out the most was that 1, he was doing huge spins 900s and flying through huge park content like nothing, and then 2, he wears just skates and a helmet. No knee pads or anything else, but always the helmet. If you’ve tried huge launches on park before, its pretty ballsy to go without knee pads. Alfano has mastered park and he knows how to fall correctly so he can manage without. Its truly a lot of skill.
But that won’t overlook any acts of douche baggery or asshole behavior especially if on television. That shit just should never be tolerated.

Take Winterclash for examlpe, cant remember the year, one of the first ones though, him and his dad where fighting with the judges cause he didnt win, then LG and many other times he’s just being an asshole. He might be cool as long as he gets what he wants though.

that trick was amazing. but I had no idea there was such a debate as to whether this guy is a huge doucher or not. I agree that it’s important for bladers to represent our sport in the proper way, especially because of all the misconceptions and stereotypes that people have about us…. but if a dude can pull shit like this and land it in front of a large group of spectators… that sort of entitles him to douche it up once in a while, right?

Mr. Hills has done at least 5 1260′s with way better style than that and one 1260 at the begining of a contest run in BUFFALO i believe. its kinda cool if stephan wasn’t such a pompous prick. i met him once and he was really lame to me, but whatever. guess who’s bizzack. Tom Fry. If you’re the real Tom, then you’d know he’s been skating almost as long as you have, secondly the man wins major comps. There’s nothing gay about him other than he can skate better than most of the bladers in the world. The real reason why people hate him started before LG had a series. It was from ASA. People didn’t like him cause they all thought he was too cocky. The way he speaks to people, it’s not that he’s really that way, it’s just his tone. Just like how everyone thought Aragon was cocky and a lot of people didn’t like him. There was a article in Daily Bread before they were killed off when he first got picked up to be flow on Remz that talked about this topic. So guys get your facts straight when talking about a legend in the making.
