I’ve seen him in person and he has massive confidence. I would describe him as a badass Japanese ninja. What’s cooler than that?
But in valo4life, they did do a good job of making him look retarded, which is bad on Ivan Narez, not Soichiro. Soichiro remains my favorite valo rider because although he is very confident, he’s also humble and pushes the whole scene in Japan, including girls, kids, OGs, just everyone he seems to support and skate with.
