Trying to create an exciting build up was executed poorly, poor filming – I think you managed to capture every single clip that wasn’t relevant. Absolute trash.

A fair amount of elements go into SJ each year to make it a great event for the UK Rolling scene. Hence why its been around for 11years so far and will hopefully continue for the next 11years. I think the edit has captured another view of the event all together which is something a bit different from maybe a normal skate edit. Even if the filming and editing are not seen as the best by some, at least time and effort has been put in by David to create something that he likes doing. All in all I enjoyed the edit and I would think more peeps with footage of SJXI will put up there insights over the next few weeks/months maybe???

I tried to capture a different vision of SJ that’s normally not seen in the edits, like the feeling and I hope there’s people out there who enjoy it, dangerousdjb you understand what I mean!

I was at that comp and am not one to hate but nearly all the pros at that comp didnt skate and just stood around looking “cool”!
I have been skating about 8 years now so I know what to expect at comps but if I was a kid going to see my idols skate I would have been dissapointed with there performance, if you can call it that!
