They are referencing the first 616 vid with that song. And then the editing is reminiscent of Drew Bacharach’s final Life+ editing. If you can’t do better why not just copy it.
I guess Don is still bitter about Salomon dropping their team. I also guess he feels he was “pro-worthy” and got the short end of the stick. Other than the other way around.

don is by all standards “pro-worthy”. he’s been unfortunate enough to be designing his pro model for two companies when they went out of business/pulled out of aggressive- Salomon and Mindgame.
