my friend went to china for that kind of stuff before.
apparentlly, the level of skaters are still not up to bar yet.
but, still, they are getting there.
as for the prize money, two hurdrend dollars can probably feed a whole family for a month.

i mean even in small street contests in US…they give out more prize money… i guess skating is on its way in china…

US$200 goes a long way in these parts of the world.
in malaysia thats its US$1 = RM3.6.
so thats RM720. which is pretty good money.
bear in mind, a McD Big Mac is RM5.

It’s not US$200 for 1st, the US$200 is for 3rd place in Best Trick. The 1st place got US$600 and the 2nd place got US$400.
Where as the full prize money for Park are US$1,200, US$800, US$500, US$300 and US$200.
Although there are those who think the prize money are low but the winners are not even Chinese but European and Thais who came from near and far for the event.
With the absence of the Americans the Thai really conquer the course.
