Shane is the nicest guy in the world… I would love to see Marc Englehart and Shane yost do a vert doubles… Those guys can tear it up on a vert ramp.

Vert is immense.
So few skateparks with full-size verts in them, not to mention the lack of exposure on vert.
Who knows how much local very know-how has been lost in local scenes worldwide.
Don’t think there’s one all-year-round vert ramp in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (as an island as a whole) and I suspect there’s probably less than 10 in the UK.
Shane’s a beast.

Nice grinds…
But indeed, nice to see some vert clips!

so happy to see some vert….I skated only vert for about 8 years in the past, the lack of structures/exposure here in italy made the local skatepark colse some years ago and the halfpipe is gone…wish I could still vert a bit…

Very is a secret society, if you’re a street skater that learns how to skate some vert, trust me your street skills will improve 10x. It’ll make that mini and quarters at your local park seem like childsplay. Streetcourses like Bittercold will be a walk in the park. Look at Thumper, that guy is a monster on both very and street.

he once came to Woodward Philly just to teach me some Vert tricks and have a session when I was 11 years old. great guy! and agree with above comment – Vert helps improve any type of skating.

Doesn’t it make you guys sick that a guy with those sick skillz can’t make any money rollerblading, yet teenagers doing knee high skateboarding tricks can become millionaires??

@Danielson is sure is a shame, Shane is now a personal trainer, his work ethic in life is much like in rolling is he is doing ok..
