If Rollerblading had a Hall Of Fame, Shane Coburn would be in it. He did so much good for the sport. We need more smart guys like Shane in our industry.

kevin did look a little bored and could barely even get out the question he had written himself, seemed a bit weird, and coburn is sooooo long winded,
half dead interviewer with a 5 page essay for each answer,
some good info in there but all in all

I thought the questions were amazing. Maybe because I always hang out with kevin I’m used to how he talks, so I thought his questions were well spoken. Regardless, Shane gave great answers.

Yeah the questions were really good, but theres a good way to deliver a question, it looked like shane was keeping kevin up all the way through, and thats disrespectful to Shane, if I was shane I would have told him to come back when he is less tired and actually looks interested in the interview.

The interviewer was not that bad. He did get a lot of information out. Would have been better in print in stead of video, that way nobody would have complained…i guess function over fashion suits for this interview as well. I can also understand why Kevin Yee did the interview instead of Tommy Bohwj with his Philosophy background and everything. In skating they are kinda mind likes…I think. He also rides for Xsjado so….all in all, substance was good.

Definitely agree with the above. Shane Coburn as an interviewee had a lot of good stuff to say but sending someone that isn’t very prepared to do an interview kinda mess’s the interview up. Im sure he’s a nice bloke but needs to work on his interview technique.

Whilst I do appreciate that it was a really good interview with a pillar of our community, I must side with the previous individuals who have posted comments. An interviewer should never mumble questions or stare at the piece of paper while asking his interviewee. Learn the questions before hand so it doesn’t look so disorganised. Look them in the eye to lock their attention and when they answer maintain eye contact to show that you are interested. I dont know Kevin and I am sure he is a nice guy but this interview was charmless because of his style in delivery. Tommy Boy can be slightly irritating and seems to fight for the limelight against the person he is interviewing in many of his episodes but at least he is entertaining and engages the viewer and interview subject.

Coburn is the man, every answer is interesting and actually leads to a solid point, I will be watching this interview again.

Please Shock never use this interviewer again, he mumbles his questions, he fidgets like he’s gagging for his next fix, worst interviewer ever, with the best interviewee to date!
