i agree with max. people need to stop whining about the bygone era of brainfeargone and coup de tat. Yes, they were formative movements in rolling history but if rolling wishes to progress peeps need to look to the future as opposed to the past. Rollerblading is far too young for anyone to sel- proclaim a particular ‘golden age’. Hats off to the rats!!

Robbie pitts looks like the snow shovel man from the original Home Alone.
Now the criticism (constructive, maybe?).
“Showcasing the finest that Melbourne, Australia has to offer” – half of the skaters profiled are not even Australian citizens.
Judging by a recent DVD of Mr Smiths i can guaruntee the rest of the film to be short, tech-ish tricks to fill in the gaps.
Timelapses looked shmick, but there is room for colour grading and maybe a bit of tilt-shift.

I’m glad you didn’t notice the color grade or the (one) tilt-shift in there, that’s the point.
This is a video of a group of mates skating (in Melbourne, Australia). If you are going to pick out people that are not originally being from Australia then don’t buy it, simple… Matthias and Danny are residents here, they pay taxes, they are Australian. At the time of filming his section, Isaac was living on my couch and working also.
Watch the DVD first, then comment on it… Its sharp, to the point, no fillers, no nonsense b-roll to fill up time, it’s precise; just like the trailer.

Being said, this looks pretty cool tho. had a good run of skate dvds lately, vine st, V4L and now this, hopefully it will get rid of the foul taste that was left in my mouth from game theory

@pdub, I feel ya. Spencer will be remembered for shooting on film. The parallel I was making was that like Spencer, Craig is starting out by filming Melbourne’s finest, some of whom are on the world stage, and bringing it to an international audience.
Would love to watch a Krank flick on dvd, as crisp and real as it’s gonna get on my loungeroom tv :) Word up bro!
