but some of that shit was good

  12. -J- Says:

Also in the section with Brook Howard smith Their was Scott Bently And Mike Opkele

Me dont hate on that video That was the hottest team of the time look at the names and the how much they have contributed to rollerblading in the last 9 years. Arlo Picked a team that now at the for front of are industry in years to come

I think rollernews needs to have a poll should have a poll of the most influental Person/Rollerblader in the Last 20years or something like that

  13. Chris Says:

“max did you wish for me and your mum to get back together”
    “no!, i was rollerblading!”
    *everyone goes crazy*

that was fuckin hilarious hahahaha thats the kinda thing i wud do

  14. nice Says:

Ok that took long to watch all of them.
Most funny was randy spizers part he was such small baby!
Pretty good for his age especially then.

Cool to see oldie goldie videos.

  15. Twinky Says:

    Completely Awesome!
Growing up during this era was the best! All noobs: commit these to memory, learn your roots.

  16. sb3000 Says:

    is it just me….
or did some of those not finish all the way…and what happened to the audio on the last like…8?

  17. sb3000 Says:

    oh. nevermind.
    i kno why now.

  18. yo Says:

this is very interesting to see this, especially now. Of course the tricks have evolved, the spots are now bigger and shit but i think the most amazing change between now and back then is the style. And its not just about the clothes. Seeing a top pro now, lets say Farmer doing a soul and seeing them , also top pros doing the same soul is completly different. Why is that ? What happened ? Are the ollies of skaters from 1995 are differents from the todays ollies ? i dont think so. Yet there is a lot to study and to tell here.

  19. some fool Says:

    old school

  20. tristan-sensei Says:

Yo you bring up and interesting point about tricks, it think what has changed the most is our equipment. Skates now are far better for what we do then ever before. Im sure if you filmed yourself now trying to soul grind in Original m12s and then did the same trick int the UFS m12s i think you will notice a difference. i think another think that has effected style is the fact that skaters no longer where bulky knee pads to skate in. Back in the day i remember the reason we wores such big pants was so that our knee pads could fit under our jeans. great video. Senate used to be the shit, then arlo left :(

  21. urbn^nja Says:

I was so waiting for someone to expose our history because I had not seen much of it and always wondered what it looked like. Now I had the chance and I’m loving it! It was bac then! ‘m really proud of it also because you can see how things have changed since then. It’s proof that we’re getting places!!! Thank you Koubis!

  35. Andy Says:

    Dudes,

Me and a friend have had an old Vhs copy of day of the rope for years and loved it. We’ve always wanted to know the title\artist of the tune during Louis Zamora’s part. Any ideas? Would be enternally grateful.
