Man, THESE were the the good old days! Rocking out my Salomons with my Senate wheels, baggy jeans and Fiction Hoodie! In my opinion, the Salomon team at this point in time was one of the strongest out there.
dude i remeber when i was about 14 when this shit was around and shayne skower was def one of my all time favs his tru spin top souls and soyales was just butter he could do it on anything def good seeing an older video i even youtubed some walt austin profiles but im rambling great vid to post shannon
Damn I remember watching this video when it came out back in the day. Still one of the best classic team videos ever. No one could fuck with Aaron Feinberg back then. That ledge roll he did in Japan (1st trick of his section) is still sooo crazy!
mann we need to go back to the people just doin so many hammers and long ass rails. thats what people like, thats what separates us from skateboarding-not trying to do lots of lil switch ups on rails. you have to be a blader to appreciate todays tech skating… but anyone could like shit like this, understanding the tricks or not. i hope some pros and producers watch this
Well the ‘focus’ used to be on how you styled you tricks. Now its about spinning 720 into a 15 trick switch up with a 1080 out revert!!!! This sort of tech stuff is nuts! But most kids these days learn how to do this shit first without learning style and making their tricks solid everytime. They can’t string a run of good looking tricks in one line together AND do it with effortless style. Back in the day everything was skated! Now everyone is just interested in rails and drop ledges.
i like how everyone is proving a good point dont get me wrong its def nice to see like a 360 makio to some god knows what to 540 out and fun to do sometimes but def i like seeing/doing a nice solid grind no matter what grind knees bent nice and low and having control and having complete control of it
