December 13th, 2008 at 3:06 pm
only YOU don’t know what trick went down. Sorry
December 13th, 2008 at 3:09 pm
coverpic: my gues its just a torque soul or a toptorque, and the picture is taken right when he was about jump 180 off…
strange pic for a magazine cover :oS

Rough torque soul
December 13th, 2008 at 4:56 pm
wrong – mathias can grind like this for hours – its for sure not a torque when hes about to jump down, its waht you can see nothing more nothing less.
trick is called a forward soyal – soyal back in the day was with you soulplate touching the obstacle only with the front part…
December 13th, 2008 at 5:16 pm
no that was just a bad soyale, or ‘toyale’ (toe soyale) if you will haha.
this trick would i guess be called a rough torque soul. who really gives a fuck anyway? you see what it is.
looks good to me. props for choosing to put it on the cover
December 13th, 2008 at 6:11 pm
thats what rollerblading needs huh? gay pictures?
December 13th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
grinding like that isnt cool in my book, the torque topsoul wouldve been better lol
December 13th, 2008 at 7:47 pm
rought – Back part of the skates sliding, like rought miszou, a miszou with the back part of the soul foot
Tough – front part of the soul plate,
that one is a TOUGH TORQUE SOUL!!!!!!

“Leçon : Prendre un rail !”
un rail de quoi?
December 14th, 2008 at 1:10 am
if the pic is him doing soyale up the rail right as he locks on it would be legit…
and if i’m not mistaken isn’t ‘ruff’ just your heel grinding? so just the toe would make this a ‘smooth’ haha.
so its either a smooth torquesoul
or a toyale up the rail….
December 14th, 2008 at 7:07 am
last i heard, rough is the heel and the toe is smooth. so its a smooth torque soul. thanks if u need me ill b in my office.
December 14th, 2008 at 10:39 am
Sllah Werdna – only I dont know? doubt that.
so its a smooth tourqe soul? would make sense.
December 14th, 2008 at 12:07 pm
People on this website are retarded.
December 14th, 2008 at 1:40 pm
front soyale, tough, smooth… wtf??!!
im pretty sure rough is for toe as well.. cos honestly who the fuck does a rough soul with their heel??!! any way stupid photo/trick.
December 14th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
An AWOL was a soyale without the heel touching down. Thats what it used to be called. They were more common than soyales years ago because of the un-level soulplates and the stickiness and unreliability of soulplates back then.
This, I guess, is not a forward one of them, because thats not how we name tricks. This is something else, and would have an entirely new name.

Rough torque soul, that’s it. Not cool for a cover in my opinion, but Roll’s always chose ugly pictures for covers.
