Rolling in Toronto: Summer 2012, Mobbmedia Edit

Rolling in Toronto

The Toronto rolling scene has been through its up and downs over the past decade.

With the emergence and death of its first Skate Shop (Dekalz Shop), we once had a scene that was strong, only to find it now in the regrowth stage again.

I highly appreciate having the scene in Toronto still alive and I give thanks to people that contribute to the scene like Shop-Task and Roll Toronto.

This video displays the bond of friendship amongst several skaters within Toronto. I feel honored to have known, grown and experienced rollerblading with these individuals over the past decade.

Sure we may be considered ‘old men’ in the game now but rest assured, we still got tricks and still have just as much pride Rolling in Toronto.

Enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed our summer.

    Great edit, solid skating.

Crazy, I just bought this song off i-tunes and it was playing in the background when I watched this. I started hearing it twice and thought the version I bought was fucked up until I paused it and realized the edit had the same song! haha

Good stuff guys, keep it up!

That was dope. I went to toronto when i was backpacking in 2007.
Guys in the youth hostel told me that the indoor park was no blades and that the nearest outdoor parks was some way away. two trains and a bus, then a 30 minute walk to the concrete park, which as a bit shady, but amazing, you could see the whole skyline. anyway , on the way home the bus driver let me ride back for free because ‘you dont know what they do to people like you here’ dont know if he meant rollers or scottish people…..
