Rollerblading in the olympics?
Two giant coloured elephants dance gayly at the opening of the games.
The 1st Asian Indoor Games, set to take place in Bangkok, Thailand on the 11th of November, is heavily rumoured to be the International Olympic Commitee’s ‘tester run’ to see just how well extreme sports do in a less commercial, but extremely performance-centric setting.
This means that if all goes well, aggressive inline skating could turn into a full blown olympic sport within the next few years.

That’s awesome. Maybe now the top skaters can get the recognition they deserve. The first dumbass to say “I want to keep rolling underground” or “I don’t want rolling to sell out” gets a kick in the nuts.

les jeux en asie vont essayer d’integrer des sports extremes,
dont le roller ; c’est pas encore sur, mais si l’essai est concluant, ca pourrait rester tout le temps

that would be great, although would it be like a big event and televised and shit such as track and gymnastics? or will skateboarding be televised and not blading?

didn`t tom fry and manuel billiris do a skateshow at the closing ceremony of the olympics (the one before sydney) ?
they talked about skating beeing olympic back then
