i think an ad that would work would be one in the style of your typical nike basketball/soccer/tennis/parkour(free running) ad.
those are always impressive, cool and admired by the masses; and actually closer to what we do, rollin round the streets.
i do realise that the ad is supposed to appeal to a wider audience of people not just the kids into “extreme” sports but there surely is a middle-ground, i think you can make all sides of rolling look great.

Ha ha, blades of glory. It would have been better if two of rec skaters aired toward each other, slammed crotches and back flipped out! Rollerblade commercials were gay back in the day, and it looks as if nothings changed. I hope Richie got payed good for that! Why not show where rolling is at today? Why show tricks people could do better 10 years ago? Do you think skateboarders would want to skate in tights on tiny boards with clay wheels? It honestly seemed to me like they were trying to make rollerblading look like a joke!

Those are two reasons why Step 2, Hoax 6, and Bandwagon productions Battle my crew section go down as some of the worst videos of all time.
I’m pretty sure Todd Grossman was on Aaron Feinberg’s least favourite rollerbladers list in an old lucky 7.
Good to see Todd still loves his mid 90’s big beat and lots of fast fisheye cuts of automobiles. Nothing has changed although I’m sure he makes way more money than any of us do.
