Sick tricks.
But…
You would think with the investment RB is putting in this team, all these little trips and sessions they would find someone that knows how to film and edit with good taste. so to actually get people interested in the brand.
All I see here is another European Online Edit.
Tons of talent on the blades but terribly showcased.
No hype, no character is what I mean. such a sick line up of skaters but just another disposable internet polluting edit.
Edits like this make me wish Europe just never found out about rollerblading and that it was done strictly by Robbie Pitts and PJ Piencak, the true innovators of such a mature sport.
Almost all Sven tricks are from 2011 because he took a backseat this year and focused on his work as European team manager. His pro-model was also kind of farewell skate – as he basically ended his career as a pro-skater and will focus more on other fields instead.
To be honest this edit sucked – not because of blading, but because of filming, editing, and music. Poor job.
RB cooperated with good cameramen and editors before… Cityhopper video is well put together, as are all videos by Greg Mirzoyan and Ben Brillante. They should hire these guys more often to film both USA and Europe teams of aggressive division…
Compare this team with the 2003 team LOL what a joke! Rollerblade has become the weirdest skate company to date. Too bad it was the best company and invented rollerblades with the Olsen Brothers and now it´s sold to this Italian group that knows NOTHING about blading…
It´s a shame… These guys are probably nice people and definately good skaters, but there are no IDOLS. That´s what´s missing in blading… Anyways. what do I know right?
