I have been riding Valo for a while and was very wiery about trying out these skates. When i tried the DT4′s from a friend i was amazed at how comfortable the skates are.. I am definatley hanging up my Valos for some DT4′s
If good reviews keep coming up about the downtown 4s I might consider copping some. I’m a broke mofo and and my current skate looks like something from a civil war museum. And correction Toby, the total cost for a custom DT4 is just $255.90 along with GC Featherlites, 4×4 wheels, m1 antis, and 2 packs of crap bearings! Holy shit!
Too bad Revolution doesn’t sell Rollerblades though. Overseas shipping in Aggressive Mall is a bitch.
@ Lars,
Yeah man! Try them out. They feel really nice. I just set them up with the fifty-50s and Eulogys because they are my favorites. =) Amall sells them with DIs and 57mm wheels for only $169… Seriously whoa.
its stupid they have rivited and glued the souls. thats pointless. why sell replaceable parts if u cant replace them. i mean you CAN do it, but have to drill all the rivits out. RB is dumb. oh hi toby..this is jon. VALO FOR LIFE!
Yeah. Why the hell did Rollerblade stick the soles on the shell? How am I supposed to replace the backslide once it gets grinded into oblivion? Can anyone clear this up?
Yeah… I mean it’s not that bad. The souls are riveted only onto the midsouls, ala Downtown 3′s, so you could probably pry the soul/midsoul straight off the boot. But seriously, they’re like disposable skates, which doesn’t bother me that much. =)
