and rob brings a veteran flavor to skating, a maturity, if you will, that is absent anywhere else you look these days. i mean, c’mon, teenagers can be good skaters, but i don’t usually look up to them as people. rob g is someone i can look up to, for his attitude and his skating and just basically his humanity. because even after your skating career is over (in rob’s case, MAYBE by the time he’s 40 =), you can still work on being human, and rob is the leader in this regard.
in a sport that’s dying for respect, don’t diss one of the most respected AND respectful people we have, please?

i did no see one trick that was not properly locked on, or any that where less than 2 feet slide, other than where the object being slide was 2 feet or less.

Amazing skating from an an amazing skater nearly ruined by a song that didn’t even come close to complimenting his skating and slow motion that was inconstant and over used. Just because we now have slow motion hd eye candy in rollerblading people totally abuse it and dont present the skating right. Its getting really played out.

Anyone that says anything negative about Rob and his skating needs to give up there blades. There is a difference between a blader and a legend…Rob G. is a legend as well as an icon and has a huge impact on our sport. Rollerblading wouldnt be the same without him, and thats the truth!

You guys are super rad!! Thanks for all the kind words..It really means a lot to me..And i know it means a lot to Rob too…We knew there would be haters out there..they always seem to crawl out, to voice there opinions..
What we didn’t expect was this mass collection of love from so many people around the world..And not just rollerbladers!!.99% of you really took away the feelings and emotions Rob /I put into this edit,…for us, thats amazing!!
I am very proud and honored to have been apart of this section… Rob is one of the best people i know..and continues to be a huge motivator in my life..

you have to be kidding 83 comment of almost all positive responses ..he had like 2-5 good tricks in that edit..the rest were basic grinds with good balance..no danger factor in anything he did minus i few tricks( darkside ao makio was the best clip ive seen in years tho)
