Fuck Rollerblade? Def not, they are there since the beginning!!! I don’t like that they dropped their pro team too, but they are still activ in sponsoring many talented rollers (Jeff Dalnas, David Sizemore… I’m sure you won’t say they can’t skate cause they are sick) and btw they made some real improvements when it comes to their skates, the frame is really inovativ and the skate looks very well sorted and skatable…

pretty much skates looks good! and they did improvements… thats true..

BUT what they did to pro team… FUCK that.. i dont think that skaters like broskow who made rollerblade trs cool skates for a long time (wach kfc broskow sections), treseder, franky morales… 0_0 and they just said we dont need all of you… in my eyes they SUCK!

if u dont agree… its up to u but this is my point of view!

i had TRS’s in the past and didn’t like them, but im sure a lot of people would like the .8 and i like the ideas in them.

I may not know everything that happens in the rollerblading “business” world, but these are my thoughts / opinions:

- Most pros don’t get paid anyway anymore, not even by big names like razors or valo
- Azikwee Anderson started this whole hate campaign against RB by complaining that RB would not pay their pros anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if his own company, ABLE never paid it’s pros either.

so basically, what’s the point? No one gets paid in rollerblading except for maybe a group of 10 persons.

Why do you now hate on rollerblade?

I wonder how those .8’s look when weared, I can only imagine they look al lot less buff then the previous TRS models.

Also, the more and more I look at these skates, the more I like the looks of them.

All and all RB did something they haven’t done for a long time…impress.

The edit was sick. The skates and the ideas behind them look solid.

As for all the politics behind the business, it’s a shame that all that happened, but that was a while back now. Think it’s time people just got over it and realise that RB was just as broke as every company out there. Like King of Rollerblading said, No one gets paid any more anyway. Any kind of cash is a bonus really.

At least they didn’t do a “mindgame” and just shut down completely…

a lot of rollerbladers get paid today! i dont think its just 10…

best usd, deshi, razors, xjado, valo, nimh riders def get paid!!! heat, able, UC, jug riders also get paid…

dont forget riders that get paid for rollerblading + for some other work conected with rolling.. demos, shops, skateparks… these also are pros!

dont know about the skate i still got a bit of hate for it but whatever its not that important…whats important is that richie impressed me a lot. i thought of him as of some kind of latimer-retirement style you know…family, kids, not skating anything major or big just doing it cuz he likes it…well maybe i was not wrong but those fullcab ao topsides and 450s convinced me that richie’s not outta game for shure! big props keep it up man i agree that you should come up with some sections!

Richie is still skating amazing and this edit proves it! Plus, he made top 10 at the LG Action World Championships, which is pretty sick considering how many amazing skaters were in the contest! I have the .8’s and they are amazing…best RB’s to date! They are light, flex well, and have the fastest soul plates out of any skate.

ah richie is a sick, sick man. but i really do have to disagree with rollerblade, i mean i know most ppl give them an awful rep but they i think they’re more of a business than a skate company and like most companies their interests are where their moneys at? they create new innovative skates to increase their sales and rep? but i never see them having any involvement in our “community” and industry as much as say valo or nimh etc. who are skater run and put plenty of their time into giving us updates, info, events etc. im just saying from past experience that they will do whats in the best interest for their company and if that means firing their riders then they’ll do that? someone correct me if im wrong cause i really have no idea and would like to be filled in? lol

are you fucking serious? richie is one of the nicest people i have met! he is one of the skaters most worthy of the title of “pro” in my opinion. and that new stuff in the back of the hanger looks like a lot of fun. this will be the first in 4 years that i cannot go to woodward. i wish i could go back. sick edit though.

all the people saying Rollerblade dont have as much money as others like valo or the same amount of $ I think are wrong, Rollerblade are a big business, probably have more money than all the others, they also sell the rec and fitness shit so they get cake from that too. probably dont fet enough $ from the aggressive skate section maybe thats why they stupidly dropped the pros.
