Renault Kangoo developed with Rollerblade

Kangoo Compact Concept: light, airy and designed for leisure
It targets young, active town- and city-dwellers who are into sport and looking for a compact car that matches their lifestyle.
Its expressive, robust lines are emphasised by its special two-tone colour scheme that blends Fireball Orange and Brushed Aluminium.
The cabin, which floods with light, is made to be shared with friends. Roomy and fun, Kangoo Compact Concept focuses firmly on the pursuit of leisure and the outdoor life.
Built around a roller-skating theme, the car was developed in partnership with Rollerblade, and inspired by the shared values of mobility, togetherness and lust for life.

that looks very cool. really different and fresh though it’ll probably get well hot in there with that massive sunroof.

great to know that Rollerblade is doing good, financialy speaking. =]

Dude I think rollerblade will always be financially stable as I guess its probably linked to a massive corporate brand like nike or something for example Salomon is part of the Adidas group. The aggressive side of there business is peanuts compared to the bigger picture I reckon.
As for the car, Europe will always be the leaders in economical design, although im not sure how glass roofs fair up if the vehicle takes a roll!

®ollerblade is owned by nordica, if i remeber correctly, and that car is just a concept, so it most likely never will be produced.

RB got the ugliest skates and now the helped to produce the ugliest car in the world
February 16th, 2008 at 11:30 pm
the car isnt that bad, its just the color and those tacky horrible seats that make it look a bit like something from a kids t.v show. Make the Orange black and eliminate the seats. Did you see it looks like theres a skate holder at the back
February 17th, 2008 at 1:55 am
I like the car, but it just doesn’t seem practical in the US. It looks sweet, but the skates locked into the trunk is just too much, we’re way to unorganized to keep something like that going.

wtf is up with concept cars, why go to the trouble of fully designing something that will never be produced for consumption!? it bothers me a lot cause concepts are usually bold and exiting.

Americans who still don’t understand that small cars are the future are annoying me.
February 17th, 2008 at 6:25 am
americans who understand what a concept care is are annoying me.

americans annoy me.

Lets face it unless it burns gallons of fuel per second Americans are not interested, unless it is oversized, greedy, gas guzzling, environment killing, super extra large fries they won’t understand it.
Americans revolve around being greedy in every aspect of their lifestyles, Europe’s way of thinking is way ahead of America, no question about it.
February 17th, 2008 at 6:10 pm
This car grinds then?!?!? :O
February 17th, 2008 at 7:16 pm

February 18th, 2008 at 1:27 am
this is exactly what rollerblading needs, a gay ass car to go with our already tainted image
February 18th, 2008 at 1:54 am
