hmmm… new colors, what else is new?
October 13th, 2007 at 12:49 am
wouldn’t even call it new colors.
October 13th, 2007 at 1:30 am
[hating mode on] I think Remz shouldn’t make the same skate with new colors and call it a “new skate”
Btw, don’t go like: “do u wan’ remz to chang sumthing evry new sk8?!?”
I just think that if Remz doesn’t wanna change anything, than wait untill sum new design, or anything new pops in their head before releasing a “new skate”
[/hating mode off]
changing subjects, the new remz line (that started on the 07twos) rule, they are the perfect skate any of you have ever skated. hands down.
My friend has the 07three and its perfect, he skates it cuffless, wich pretty much is the only way u can feel the “real Freedom-of-feet-concept”
I had the Non-UFS Remz, and they are good, but Remz now is sooooooooooooo much better, 100x better liners, 18.127.361x better soulplates, ETC.
BUY REMZ :)
October 13th, 2007 at 2:18 am
yea Adam I agree, remz rule.
I feel you also on the “new skate” thing, but releasing different colors of the same model is still cool I think. and also about the name, when they release a new color they should still give it a new name.. rite? do i make sense?
October 13th, 2007 at 2:40 am
People talk about razors not changing it up
looks like remz is headed in that direction
October 13th, 2007 at 3:03 am
wtf!? i swear to god they all look the same!!
October 13th, 2007 at 3:26 am
razors look the same also. new cool look for remz but im not going to pay 300 for different colors. i like my 073s bit better any way. still love remz though
October 13th, 2007 at 5:02 am
who gives a shit that theyre the same. you cant expect something new every month or two. besides remz have changed heaps over the years. awhile back on rn you can see even more new remz so quit bitching. i agree mayb its a bit stupid calling it a new skate tho, like razors does.
October 13th, 2007 at 7:41 am
i’m havin ‘em in a week or so. can’t wait!
October 13th, 2007 at 8:23 am
Aren’t Remz heavy?
October 13th, 2007 at 8:53 am
lol…. almost the same as 07one… just a bit darker…
October 13th, 2007 at 9:52 am
ouch… $330. super ouch.
October 13th, 2007 at 9:59 am
nobody made it a rule that you have to make some improvement with each release. people need to trust that the companies are looking out for their best interests. right now there’s nothing wrong with the razors and remz skates, so why shouldn’t they just release new colourways? if anything they’re wasting their own money producing new colourways when customising colours is so easy. if you don’t like it don’t buy it, and send an email to them telling them why you didn’t. simple as that.
October 13th, 2007 at 10:04 am
what i’d like to see is a bigger backslide groove than that little dimple, however. also they need to release some pro skates, instead of teams all the time. what’s the deal with that?
October 13th, 2007 at 11:37 am
I want the new frankie modell…!!!!!!
this is boring:)))))))))
October 13th, 2007 at 12:45 pm
Word up. Those Morales boots are sick. I wonder why they didn’t make a lot of those instead. The Remz Frankys are less bulky, light, and simple. Hell, even add the new Remz V-Cut and you’ve got yourself a skate.
October 13th, 2007 at 3:09 pm
if you want it like back 10 years ago where there came a skate out once a year and the style never changed you suck!!! bring more colors!!! It leads to more models….
October 13th, 2007 at 3:44 pm
I think that the size of the backslide plate is fine but maaaaaybe, it could be a little bit deeper, btw, Remz should release sum pro skates too :)
I think that the next team model should be pure white, it’d be awesome :)
peace
October 13th, 2007 at 3:49 pm
@Lars - no it isn’t heavy, actually if it’s on your size and compact on your feet it’s actually pretty lightweight :)
My friend’s 07three size 9 weights 1.8kg each (pretty light compared to USD legacys that weight 2.4~2.6kg each)
peace
October 13th, 2007 at 4:37 pm
my remz0703 weights 2 kg, size 9 but its feels like 1.5!
i agree with you adam, nem remz pure white (:
October 13th, 2007 at 4:55 pm
ive skated remz for 3 years and these r the best set ever. i will b getting them within the week, i cant wait.
October 13th, 2007 at 6:13 pm
i hope thye ill change that strap system in the middle…. the straps on the 06one-two were sick… i loved them…. and put laces in the back again instead of strap….
October 13th, 2007 at 9:15 pm
I have been skating remz for about 3 or 4 years now. I love them and its time for a new pair soon but im thinking of grabbin some Valo’s!!!!! hard choice to make
October 14th, 2007 at 2:01 am
I want those white Franky skates. hahah.. But i was not going to buy rems anymore because of an argument i had with Kato. I still love them to hell, but i need to feel a new skate soon. But if white frankys come out, i want them. hahha. I heard the rems have a new cuff?
October 14th, 2007 at 3:47 am
Mmm I like the look of the 0703… Anyway, I found Remz a very light skate and damn comfortable…
I can’t wait for my 0703 in a couple of weeks from now…
October 14th, 2007 at 7:17 am
You need to release the new colors because the old colors sell out in normal sizes like 9,10,11 and then what are you supposed to do?
This new color scheme is kinda lame cause the 0701 look almost exactly the same but if you ride Remz and your old ones are completely worn out now you can buy a new one instead of riding your beat up skate for ages waiting for a new concept mode to hit the shelves.
October 14th, 2007 at 3:17 pm
ok, I was down with the whole color thing, But now this is just getting silly.
October 14th, 2007 at 6:38 pm
yeah ther pritty sick i should be getting some remz for xmas cant fucking wait ther gonna be sick will some1 clear sum shit up for me like ok are remz well light ? ermm and wht ones wld anyone reconmend im think 0702zzz answerzzz????
safe
October 14th, 2007 at 10:00 pm
@benzzzzz - they are fking light if they are compact on your feet and I like the 0702 better than the 0703 and the 0801, I dont know why, maybe it’s because i love white skates.
peace
October 15th, 2007 at 9:39 am
why dont remz make a diffrent skate come on i know types of sk8s are ment to look the same but ther takeing it to far
October 15th, 2007 at 1:44 pm
People please refuse to pay out money for skates which you have already got but just in a slightly different colour. you are encouraging all the companies to not make new skate’s.
October 15th, 2007 at 5:50 pm
ok guys i know that it is such a difficult thing to understand but maybe the skates are fine the way they are. Its awesome that instead of screwing up something everyone is use to and likes? remz just tries to keep it fresh. mixing up colors and shit.
October 15th, 2007 at 11:33 pm
to the people that were saying new pure white remz, they arent new . . theyre called haffey 2’s
October 16th, 2007 at 4:10 pm
bring on the white frankys. they look awesome
October 20th, 2007 at 8:08 pm
hey
i know they look exactly the same as the old ones and might well be, but your not gona get anywhere just having the same blades out.. maybe remz just released some new ones so people didnt get bored and they didnt loose buisness? maybe im wrong but i think thats a good reason.
im still gettin 07/twos tho.
safe
October 27th, 2007 at 2:08 pm
the only thing i aggree on is that the back slide plate should have a deeper curve to it giving it that extra solid lock when you try doing some really carzy stuff, lets say 12set stairs to slopng rail or curb.
November 5th, 2007 at 8:00 am
just had a good look at the Remz08s on the web page http://www.remz.com and man not much else can be done to make it any more original & perfect, with the new higher cuff it will be a good choice for those who in the past have said that it has tooo much flex which leads to sore ankles, but from what i see now, remz has done some good additions to the skate, No.1 One piece soul system, 2. improved strap, 3. Higher Cuff.
which all together makes it a pretty well improved skate, also i weighed the 06ones and you would be led to think that Xsjado is lighter but in fact it aint!, i was suprised, 1.4kg!! now thats light.
i guss when it comes to weight its all about the weight distribution of the parts of the skate that makes a difference in how it feels on your foot.
I KNOW ONE THING, ME GETTIN SUM OF THESE :)
