well valo and xsjado are not soft boots as”Beef” said it is just leather around a hard boot so even if razor did go out which they wont there is still hard boots around and another thing is razor being a hard shell is much better than a soft boot becuz yes some soft boots look nice like the carbons or what ever but wait awhile and they will be torn apart and looking like shit on your feet as did the old remz 0601 and 02s so a hard boot like razors is obviously the best !

i think less and less people are skating razors bcuz they have stuck to the same old design for sooo long it has only been now that they have desided to change everything with the sl boot if razor start making a wider idea of the skates and how other brands ideas are, people will start skating razor more bcuz in my opinion razor are the best skates ever ive skated so many different types and razors are the best ive got the icons 2 now and they seem like the best fitting and best skating skate out there on the market at the moment

yes there are soft boot skates but nimh and valo are hard boots. remz (not including the open shells) are an example of soft boots. So are all K2′s, i think there are others too but not sure off the top of my head

MB : your not correct in saying hard boots are on the way out. I skate a USD throne and most of the people around me skate hard boot skates like the gen’s and sl’s . Also a lot of people skate remz so i don’t know how that falls into your categories. I will never skate anything but hard boot skates. i have a pair of new xsjados and there fun and all once in a while but they feel like little toy skates. The skinned skates such as valo and nymh feel slow moving to me and there also high heeled because they are just M12 and RAZOR cult shells with a piece of leather over them…talk about outdated. These skates are really much older designs then gen’s and the sl razors, USD’s and Remz OS designs which if you’ve been around the block know these are the real shit.

I am asking a question, not hating. Don’t get defensive because you ride razors. What are they doing to keep up with Nimh, Valo, and Xsjado. I would include carbons, but 80% of bladers can’t afford carbons. They are nice skates, but look at the razors of today and look at the razors of the dave kollash era…not much difference. Say what you want, but bladers always want a new style. I don’t really see how hard boots are going to keep up with the advancement of soft boots. Consequently, Valo, Nimh, and Xsjado are ahead of the game with an affordable soft boot. TV2, Nimh, and Stockwells are the same price as any of the comparable lower-end razor skates. And, on the top end, would you rather have broskows, farmers, shimas, or icons? I give credit for razors being around a while and keeping the hard boot concept going, but let’s face it…the razors style hard boot is on the way out.

Like I said before, I wish someone could tell me something about razors from a business stand point. To me, it seems like they are riding on Aragon’s coat tails for as long as they can and then they are in trouble. I could be completely wrong, but it seems like I see less and less people riding razors and more people riding Nimh, Valo, and Xsjado. I am just talking about what I see at the skatepark, so I could be completly wrong. I have noticed quite a few people who have dropped their razors for a different brand. Any words of wisdom from anyone?
