A film by Simon Mulvaney. The Razors Team was out in full force at this years Winterclash, Europe’s largest rollerblade ran competition in Eindhoven, Holland. Both Am’s and Pro’s alike were able to catch up and session together at an event that continues to exceed expectations year after year.

If you mean Dre Powell, I agree.
I mean yeah, I know he can do great hammers, fullcab topside-tricks etc. but on every edit hes kinda in your face, playing it like a rollerblading godfather or something, doing 99% true top souls…I dont know..hes good on rollerblading, hes done a lot of representing..hes also good at music…but his personality seem a bit arrogant and bad to me.
Great edits though. I liked those two, especially the first one, the most of all Ive seen so far. Spot on.

style can break down a little when you’re charging! as fast as you can at the hugest obstacles in the park. I much prefer to see a skater going for it at comps and Roman definitely was going for it. If you wanna be a style control-freak while skating smaller obstacles, sit out on the sidelines like Broskow.

I actually thought Abrate’s style was the worst when he’s skating smaller obstacles like in the first vid..He’s got that ‘hold your arms down stiff at any cost’ thing going on..

You guys are extremely wrong about Powell. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. And has also done so much for blading. He may not constantly blow your mind on these little 2 minute razor edits but don’t let that fool you. Dre is still sick and had one of, if not the best section in Game Theory. So stupid for people to try and judge someones personality from blading edits. Definitely not a good indicator.

How can you people sit here and care soooooooooo much about arguing and complaining about nonsense. These are the best skaters in the world. If they aren’t good enough for you, GTFO OF OUR SPORT.
You all need to stop being so critical. That was the best Winterclash edit so far and the tricks in it were absolutely mind-boggling. Stop whining about style and pro-skater status, stop bringing negativity into our sport, stop hating on the one thing we all claim to love so much. Rollerblading does not and will not conform to your opinion.

Team razors are actually the nicest pro team out there, and believe me the less cocky and full of themselves of the other teams, they are cool and hang out with everybody, and DRE is the nicest roller I had the pleasure to meet, is one of those guys that keep you going, that´s all I have to say

As for dre ‘shouldn’t’ be pro. It’s about much more than dropping edits every two days. If we based rolling on what we see each week, every pro out there would be constantly getting dropped because someone had a better edit a couple of days ago. You kids need to grow up and realise how things in life work.

Yes ! I am one of that person that don’t understand how Wagner won …
He is good no doubt, but look at this trick done by the Razors guy ( not a big fun of Razor team ) !
Don’t say because of Wagner style because you need to look at Arragon’s style ( and I am a Haffey fan :) ) … and don’t say because he use the entire course because Arragon and Abrate skated more of the course obstacles … and don’t say because of his grate technical tricks and spins because … and the list can go on … !
I think, AND I HOPE I AM WRONG, is because Ignition was the main sponsor and Jojo is his buddy and they are all from Berlin where I meat and skate with them some times.
I think the judgment of the all contest must be more transparent… and show the public base what someone is first and some one is fourth ( or something like that … the judges papers or at least who are the judges of the contest )

I think that was no spintowincontest!!! Wagner made long clean lines without bails and different tricks than all the others. Did you saw the vertical soul grind on the green thing? Accept the result! dont hate!

Wagner did the biggest trick with the wall ride fakie 540 out. Lots of people were doing spin to win on that disaster box. Antony Pottier took am with a hurricane disaster topsoul on that thing, and Nils did hurricane fish! but NO ONE else did that wall ride fakie 5 out and no one else was doing those huge quarter transfers much less a huge drifty 540. and yeah, if he skated the longest lines and stayed on his feet (looks like Aragon and roman both took multiple tries to get thier “spin to win” type tricks), that probably opened the door for Dominik as well.
and hey, isn’t Antony Pottier on Razors? It would’ve been nice to see his clips as well. Kid seems to be coming up fast!

I’m not trying to say who should or should not have won, but nobody in that skatepark could have done that a/o wallride cab 5 out with the same aggression and power that Dom pulled it off with. He ended up clearing the entire thing! It was about 20ft long!

Thats even not a wall..its 45degree bank, but whats more important-Aragon was doing 360 to wallride 180 out, 10 years ago in KFC3 era…so do you think he cant out that “wall”ride with a 540?? the hurricane disaster top soul on that V-ledge was 1-looking better for a hammer/comp trick 2-more difficulut 3-you dont see the rail on the moment of jumping 4-was done waaaay more stylish than any of wagners stiffy tricks..so you tell me who shouldve won?
