I think both of them locks really nice
September 28th, 2007 at 10:08 am
what the hell is shifty? and is this a collabo or just a new model? :S
September 28th, 2007 at 10:08 am
Wait… are these just the cults titled shiftys? If so, that makes no sense and I’ll still be calling them the cults, but there’s something about them that seems different.. I can’t put my finger on it. Is the cuff different? Is the boot different? Am i just being fooled by the new rounded web2.0 style font and icon? Anyways, I’m confused, but I like them… more than the cults even… if that makes sense…
September 28th, 2007 at 10:31 am
Just fucki* Cult’s?
Laaameee
September 28th, 2007 at 10:47 am
shifty is a small english company that make clothing and wheels
these skates are shit and so is shifty
September 28th, 2007 at 11:10 am
they look like they have the very first cult liners. thats nt good.
September 28th, 2007 at 11:16 am
(I think) Shifty is a small company owned by http://www.rollersnakes.co.uk
I guess this is sort of like the rat-tail throne
But surely they would come with shifty wheels, but would then need frames…
either way, classic razors are hot, and these are sick as fuck
September 28th, 2007 at 12:04 pm
everytime razors re-releases the cults i can’t help but thinking WTF!?
September 28th, 2007 at 1:08 pm

why does the upper black cult/shifty have a different shaped front soulplate than the lower white one?
September 28th, 2007 at 1:42 pm
Shifty = shitty ? ^o^
September 28th, 2007 at 2:07 pm
linner sucks
maybe ther isn’t a big difference between them and the cults ( i think it’s the cults special eddition or sth like that) but i like them, specialy the white ones
September 28th, 2007 at 3:21 pm
Ain’t shit changed. To think that a company like razor has such little respect for the people that have been keeping them in business, The shifty/Royale are the cults with two tone soul. same ol’ shit from a shit company. So lets see The cults have been named the Cults, creams, elliotts, Shimas, Shifty, Shitty idea guys. Just bring out the “New” aragon boot design, it’s the only way to save your company.
September 28th, 2007 at 3:27 pm
the cult model is pretty good, i love them. the white ones look really nice, the black ones are the same that i have but i have them with jugs
September 28th, 2007 at 4:04 pm
maybe teh ywill be realesed as the same pair, rigth foot black, left foot white…
LOL =)
September 28th, 2007 at 4:15 pm
Same shit different name, fuckin gay assholes
September 28th, 2007 at 4:19 pm
I don’t care, as long as I have the option of buying a black shell to fit my Cult6 i’ll be happy.
September 28th, 2007 at 4:40 pm
More innovation, less flooding the market. Please.
September 28th, 2007 at 5:07 pm
Nick said it!!! this is exactly that kind of shit i hate to see in rolling… its like raping customers brain so he will think changing the colors will actually improve skate’s performance so he can BUY IT FOR MORE MONEY stupid assholes its the only thing theyre after
September 28th, 2007 at 5:08 pm
whats wrong with you people? w/e you call them cults are cheap good skates. razors should bring back the soft top shells cuz they look better. anyways dont hate on the skate no ones putting a gun to your head to buy them. they’er great for people that dont want to pay 3 bills for skates your going to fuck up anyways.
September 28th, 2007 at 5:24 pm
You guys got it all wrong. You’re calling it the Cults, but it goes even further than that. They are the Flat’s and or Super Flats. They know kids love this style and razors is just sitting back collecting money. We need something new!!! I know NIMH is something new. That’s the start of some fresh blood.
September 28th, 2007 at 5:46 pm
hahaha oh yeah!!!!!! super flats thats right. yeah we need new stuff but the super flats can be to rollerblading what blank decks are to skateboarding. just sumthing cheap thats can get the job done. i think we need more skates like these in our sport. anything 150 and less like m12s, realms, and “cults” these skate will make it easier for people to start skating. if rolling makes its way back to the x games these will be the skates the nexted gen will pick up. then they’ll be hooked and bitch about how much razors suck. jk
September 28th, 2007 at 6:10 pm
chaz owns a part of shifty now, most likely the reason for these skates
poor move.
September 28th, 2007 at 8:40 pm
I dont know who you kids are kidding, razors is still possibly the most popular brand in rollerblading. Regardless of whether or not they change anything they are still good ass affordable skates and tons of people will still buy them. what other company has actually changed anything in the past few years? TRS and they keep sucking anyway, Deshi but those got even worse until the CHs. Remz have made little modifications but nothing big after the 03ones, USD is continuously coming out with new shit and hey go figure, half of it isnt as good as the shit they already had at and barely anybody skates it. Razors are good enough already, if you want such a drastic change then buy another skate brand.
September 28th, 2007 at 8:49 pm
There not bad
September 28th, 2007 at 10:13 pm
yh yh they been done before blah blah but visually the white ones are quite nice, shifty are a wheel compnay primarily and they actually make some ok wheels they are cheaper than big american brands and often last longer.
September 29th, 2007 at 1:18 am
Razors is really starting to dissapoint, good thing I switched to Valo sometime ago. Razors needs help bad.
September 29th, 2007 at 4:02 am
w/e i don’t skate this style of razors ne way i think they should go with the style of the shima 5’s y’kno the soft boot look
i think a black boot but keep the white bubble things white
idk i might try the cult style out u kno it’d b diff
September 29th, 2007 at 4:26 am
i think it is fun to read all the hate mail razors get… they have one, if not the best skater on a pro model and everyone still yells at razors. i love it. pure entertainment. oh well, i skate xsjado’s now and well, they have to be the most comfortable skate i have ever put on my feet - and i have been skating 15 plus years. i am diggin them - however, i have never skated razor skates. i hear they are nice skates from the one’s i know who ride them.
September 29th, 2007 at 8:26 am
simple, proven, affordable.
September 29th, 2007 at 11:59 am
y change something that clearly works? razors have been dominating for a long time, becasue of their simple designs, that’s y they keep bringing out simple designs, cos they work bla bla bla bla bla bla bla who cares…….. classic throne usd’s are the way to go
ps shifty is what us retard australians call a royale
September 29th, 2007 at 5:52 pm
um lets see..
flats = superflats = creams = elliots = cults = shifty?
why another name for the same skate?
September 29th, 2007 at 6:16 pm
wow seriously. these skates look pathetic. so much for a wasted unique collaboration skate. gimme a break shifty. so you had the chance to make an awesome skate, in an awesome colorway, but you chose an old non-ufs cult boot and called it black and white?
oh my goodness :rolleyes:
September 29th, 2007 at 7:44 pm
they’re actually the superflat boot with the elliot II backslide plate. in all honestly, i think someone just photoshopped the shifty logo on those skates. they’re not actually going to come out, razors doesn’t collaborate with small-time companies. either way, they own the rollerblading world.
September 29th, 2007 at 8:36 pm
geeeeeezz razors if you take a skate and just put a different name or little designs on it it doesnt make it new caaaaaaaaaaahrist
September 30th, 2007 at 12:15 am
i dont know if someone posted this already but bauer it think it was came out with a skate about 10 years ago called the shifty. it was what the royal was once called, before they touched the boot all the way down.
September 30th, 2007 at 12:56 am
ok, to start with, alot of you guys clearly have no idea wat you talking about, a fair few do al admit, but not alot. To start with, the company ’shifty’ as been goin for over 11 years, longer then most of you have skated, the company was called shifty because bac then, the ‘royale’ was known as a sick trick (good idea if you ask me), and razors, has been goin around the same length of time, so lets face it, these companies have been in rollerblading longer than most. Next, the cult, are the cheapest boot razors do, and most likely, the cheapest to manufacture (dont need a new mold, probably bearly need to actually mold many at all), so its not goin to cost razors much to do this, and no doubt the skate wont cost much wen it comes out, so its most likely goin to appeal the younger more beginner skaters, and the people that dont want, or cant spend a fortune on skates. so why start something with an expence boot when it might not even hit off, that would be stupid. i also have a big feeling these skates will only be sold around the u.k as shifty appeals to alot of rollerbladers around th u.k, so for you lot that have big mouths, if you dont like them, dont buy them, just shut up and let the people that like them skate them, because, lets face it, both these companies, big or small have been around longer than most of you have been skating.
September 30th, 2007 at 9:54 am
they are ugly…they look like the Realm…Razors can go higher than this
September 30th, 2007 at 11:14 am
well i dont care whatever you guys are saying. i like them! they look sick, especially the white ones. and im looking for somthing new to try and seeing as i havnt had the classic razors before, i might go for these…
stop hating on your own industry!
September 30th, 2007 at 3:42 pm
i just wanna know how much they’re gonna be, the old style razors will always be one of my favorite skates.
October 2nd, 2007 at 9:19 pm
They’re Ballin if you ask me, espicially the black ones! Their simple yet they look pretty sick. I would maybe put some different liners in their such as the new jug liners(in white) to make em look and skate better. other than that, they look sick
October 12th, 2007 at 7:40 pm
dude, these are fucking cults….and before cults, they had another name…cant remember. Anyhow, whats with brands giving skates different names, and they are just changing colors??? Im insulted.
October 26th, 2007 at 6:48 pm
best razors yet?
November 29th, 2007 at 5:34 am
other name was flats/super flats
February 8th, 2008 at 10:48 am
they have a different cuff, its not as wide at the top as a normal razor cuff. i got a pair a few weeks back skate good, but i made the error of getting a size nine and they only have two boot molds, one up to size 8 and one from size 9 - 13 so my pair sit over the frames by about an inch making look stupidly bigger then they are
June 24th, 2008 at 10:05 pm
i dont know if anyone has taken any notice but the main diff between these and the cults is these have xsjado frames (as stock) , it dunt show on the pic up there but they do wich is partly why they were called shifty… for those who dusnt understand heres a little math
shifty=royale
xsjado=easier shifty
XSJADO=EASIER ROYALE
so the frames will be easier and smoother for FS, BS, Royale grinds etc.
has that changed anyones mind about how theyre supposedly the same as cults? anyway i’m gettin some white shifty’s the’yre sick
