Those actually look really nice. I like the fact that the soul look massive.

Also, when I saw the video, I thought the skates were shoes at first.

haha
yes eugene he did.
just his narrow mindedness to different view and arrogance to call me a grommet.
new boot moulds do cost cash money, but its an investment in my eyes.
and anyways, they look immense!"

it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars because you have to design everything in CAD; prototype to check fit, design, and dimensions; engineer and re-engineer injection points and material formulas; fix shrinkage and cracking issues; precisely CNC machine multiple-piece molds that fit together seamlessly and quickly; test the samples thoroughly (at least, you should... many skate companies seem to forego this step), make the necessary adjustments to all the previous steps if testing shows shortcomings; then re-test. THEN you have to do it all for three or four other sizes, in left and right.

that guy really pissed you off huh leo?
also i can't see why it would cost hundreds of thousands to make a new boot mold, i can imagin it being expesive to mass produce the first batch but if you made sure it was gonna be perfect the first time then it'd be worth it.

Ole skoo is just being a dick. People want to see a new product from razors. They have had very little innovation or even change in their skates for years. They are continuiously making pretty much the same skate over and over. Also the fact that riders aren't getting paid has nothing to do with what a single kid says on a post or even the demand for a new product. The demand for a new product is a good thing. There are too many kids out there getting free stuff from companies who aren't even on the team. Companies need to start acting like companies and make riders promote their products which very few do.

and no offence dnb all tha way muthafuckahs but your really sounding foolish right now. yes the conference are dope but to say that razors are a shambles of a company is a half wit comment to make.
look at there team, there advertising (i.e podcasts) and there ability to generate interest, be it positive or negative, its advertisment all the same.
go back to school.

and your point about bmx's isnt valid, as they are constantly innovating bikes frames using different materials and technology, as for boarding , really, look at the difference of boards ten years ago to now, better pop, more durable wood, varied sizes and lengths and different market strategies (budget blanks as opposed to high end decks like zoo york)
its all about companies branding and market strategies.
it is business after all.

its not asking alot from a massive company who have done seriously well out of there genysis boot mould as it is.
it will generate more income in the long run and strengthen there brand.
so stop wining.
its not like i bitched about razors once, i am a devotee of there skates, having had about 6 pairs now.
all i was saying is that the new remz (which are quite alot different to the originals i might add) are using the new innovations such as there cut down cuff and liners, and are looking like an attractive option right now.
it isnt my fault that razors make statements saying the icon is the last in the series.
im sure there as stoked about the new boot mould as everyone else is who are waiting for it.
JE is right in the sense that your getting all rowdy.
and your foolish to say that i dont appreciate what i have right now, as i love my skates, there just wasted tis all.
so dont try and get all righteous about this topic like your opinion is better and more valid than anyone elses. you just sound a bit narrow minded for it.
im a qualified rollerblading instructor and a supporter of razors as a brand so at least try and express your view in a less arrogant way.
if you look at my first reply im actually agreeing with your point in some respects.

Ole Skoo has a chip on his shoulder.

Calling Leo a grommet after branding every poor kid who wanted to see a new boot-mould a faggot! Older skaters stopped getting rowdy like that on messageboards in '01 didn't they?

It's a big circle...you can't just say pro's ain't getting paid cos kids asked for new boot mould...a little more to it than that I think!

ok ole you obviously think your all knowledgable, just because my opinion differs to your about a need to update the razors boot shell doesnt mean you should act like a retard about it.
my first pair of decent skates were romes and im 24 for a start, so cut the grommet shit.
it may cost razors quite alot of money to make ta new boot mould but people well purchase them on mass and im pretty sure \(as razors are one of the biggest companiew in rolling) that they will make there money back on that and then some.
