I think Rian wins hands down to be honest! Adrien and Roman haven’t got anywhere near the style that Rian has, or the tricks in fact! The Monster spine ramp is BIG and for Rian to do those tricks on it is incredible! CJ I’d probably put second because he killed it too.
I just can’t tolerate people that haven’t really got a good style, come off a grind when it’s stopped, not blasted it out and had to control their speed because they’re going so fast!

if I used a spine I would have done a flat 5 drifted across four panels of ply. a straight spin w/no drift = easy grom trick.

I hope that ROMAN ABRATE will win this contest cause he desserves to fly to big contest in USA, Rian and Cj were there lately and it costs less for them to go there, and I agree that the mini ramp that Roman skates is way more difficult than the perfect one in Sydney, I would love to see an edit of Roman in Sydney and Rian and CJ in Fréjus, hahaha, anyway good job to all of you guys, sorry that I didnt have time to make an edit so I used some tricks from a vimeo edit from november 2007…

1st – Rain…….so smooth, so steazy, sick lines!
2nd – Roman…….tight lines, steazy! not as many tricks!
3rd – Adrien…….such good tricks, but all the one footed tricks weren’t grabbed! You gotta grab a dangling foot!!! If he would have grabbed all his one footed tricks, then I would have said FIRST!
4th – CJ – great skating, but no lines, and it was a mini contest.

Rian Arnold was the only one who skated the ramp like it was a mini, not a p-rail with a ramp up to and away from it. The first line in his edit is incredible. CJ would be second IMO.

Rian Arnold had the best flow, variation, and really had control of the transitions. CJ was impressive, but he is better than that. The other two were boring.

Abrate quits his grinds when he doesn’t slide anymore: you must have conscience of what you’re doing when you post an edit on the net. That’s one of the first things you learn when you start skating: the flow and the speed are important if you want your skating to look good. He’s also developped a very bad habit which is to grind 10 cm or something. Technicality with no ease means nothing.
3 lines is enough for Arnold to show what rollerblading should be: a movement from one point to the other (a mini ramp in that case), that is done properly with personal steeze and flow!

you oculdnt stop Roman from wining ryan just used nice music but the tricks were really easy,sweaty,270 top soul etc while romans were extreamly difficult.
Iv skated the mini roman skated whwile on holidays,i dont knoww how he pulled all that of,The big ones massive and the trasfer is dangerous,i transfered tto soul and acid,hurricane top soul is to crazy.
and the copens also pretty dodgey on the ramp
