“You ready?” are Brian Aragon’s first words in Game Theory as he gets amped for a trick in the 2010 Razors Team video.
Produced by Helton “Brazilionaire” Siqueira Game Theory is one of the most anticipated videos of the year. It showcases truly next level skating from an amazing team of pros, amateurs and up and coming talents. Featuring Dre Powell, Stefan Horngacher, Julian Bah, Jeph Howard, Mike “Murda” Johnson, Mathias Silhan, Max Jubin, Roman Abrate, Eric “Ski” Perkett, Edwin Wieringh, Iain McLeod and ending in a firework of hammers by Brian Aragon.
Filmed in fantastic production quality at amazing spots all over the world, the scenery and spot selection make this film as visually stimulating as it is epic. The video puts the viewer into the individual sections unlike any video before. With footage around the biggest hammers in the video, it creates a surreal feeling of almost being there when these tricks were landed. Hearing what the skaters say, seeing what they are doing and trying to wrap their minds around it is an inspiration for everybody to go skating.

Bambrick’s section should have been included. Here’s hoping it gets released online or added as a bonus. Not hating on my dude Brazil or anything because he obviously had no control over it, but it would be a shame to tape Bambrick and not allow anyone to see the footage.

allright … the sections most people want to see .. HONR and BAMBRICK .. no Bambrick section sucks ass man!! others wil be sick as well but i was hyped on theese two the most!! Because they have put in work, for the reason that nobody really knows these other million of skaters that are supposedly better than them. Murda and Dre have built rep through years of putting out amazing sections and touring, and that my friend is what being Pro is about. Teams don’t just start dropping members left right and centre because some unknown kid puts together a great section, this unknown kid has to put in work over years of clips and work, and then he can become pro like Murda and Dre. Dre and Murda will step down when they tell Razors that they no longer wish to be on the Pro team, period.

I’ll admit that the Valo trailer got me excited, but I have the video already, and it’s really hard to make it all the way through the 70 minute documentary style feature, especially with all the boring “personality shots” and slow, slow music. It plays a lot better if you skip the tour footage and just watch individual skater’s sections, but when you do that the video suddenly shortens to about 25 minutes (B Smith only a 2&1/2 minute section after filming for 2 years, really?). I’m hoping to see some real hammers and well, some AGGRESSIVE skating from the Razors guys. If you wanna see overly controlled, perfect skating that resembles skateboarding or figure skating more than aggressive skating, get the Valo video. But if you like aggressive skating, which by its very nature isn’t always pefect, it looks like Razors is gonna deliver the goods, or should I say the hammers.

I hope the music will not be a fag style. What I mean is, it will be like in old days when the music taken for roll movies was a really good selection often unknown for a lot of people…now they are taking shit hits that you can hear 24/7 in a radio which is a total shit.

I can’t believe how much hate there is for this. It’s just classic, burly, pro level skating.
And the major difference between this and KFC 3 skating is this is more refined. Similar tricks, better control (for the most part).

Am not swept up in the hype either for or against this dvd. If it’s good it’s good if the waiting and high expectations leave it falling flat on it’s face, i just don’t care.
The only reason I’m commenting is that I find myself frustrated by the hype that everyone around me seems to have been sucked into.
I’m looking forward to Christmas, not Game Theory.
I can just about stand a 2-3 minute video containing Brazil’s editing style, I doubt I could handle an hour of it.

Also, for people that don’t already know, Roces, Bauer and Rollerblade were the companies that made aggressive inline skating a reality for the masses NOT Razors.
I appreciate everything Razors has done but kids that started skating in 2000 claiming old school need to get their fucking history straight before running their mouths.

I think I’m going to get this one, skating just gets more crisp every day, We are definitely going in the right direction, Plus using more mainstream music is another way to establish a friendly connection with the mainstream, I think we are fine as of now, Only time will tell if we can reach a level of professionalism and structure to reach our dream of rollerblading being a big action sport.
