   Ugly shit! Could RZRS make something different from Genesis boot? If my memory doesn’t fuck with me it has been more than 5 years now since the first Genesis-boot was released. The skate industry is down, but does this mean, that there are no talented people (skaters, designers, etc…), who could make a new different skate-boot for them???

   @hurricane: maybe you should consider buying an other brand if you dont like the razors style…
   This is absoloutley no genesys remake! There are pretty mutch new features and good ideas to make the improved razors-concept even better!

   Ugly or not is a question of taste. I like the look very mutch and cant wait to skate this shit! ! ! It is a MUST HAVE!

   This is not a Genesys boot or mould, if you read all the info and watch the design videos, it is a completely new shape/mould/design aptley named the Superlight (SL).

   Personally I can’t wait to get my hands on these skates, they are a step forward for Razors and skaters everywhere, many problems have been considered and solved with this new model and even the cost of replacing spare parts has been thought of, fair enough they may not be to everyones taste but before you actually get a chance to try some you shouldn’t knock progression, isn’t it one of the main foundations of rollerblading?

   nice simple, functional skate. Will be interesting to see how they feel and wear. I agree with Hurricane its nice to see skates especially pro skates which are unique to the standard range.

    The baseless shell is a tad weird, I wonder how it’ll skate. Other then that I think they look awesome. It’s a shame that most Razors skates are that expensive when the are released, that holds me off buying some. Especially when you’re able to get some good Genesys models for half the price the SL’s are.

    what you guys fail to realize is that actually, yes it is a genesis mold as well as a cult mold. It’s a genesis soul plate mold with a few new patents and a cult boot mold redesigned to apply the new sole plate mold. It’s all old hat but with a bad new twist. I personally don’t like it but I will try them out simply to confirm my thoughts on it’s weak points and make fun of it’s design. I won’t say more since these companies don’t listen then waste their money in the end anyway.

    I was just saying: don’t invent the new bicycle - improve the old one! I have been skating for full 13 years now and i have seen\tried a ton of skates. It is clear that there are some regular characteristics for every skates: 8(4)wheels, frames, boots etc… but the major company like Razors (+some others) could make a wider model range. Razors have made two models in general - Cult & Genesis. I personally skate Genesis for more than a year now and i think they’re pretty dope, but…
    The skate industry is not a wealthy one, but there are talented people from all over the world, who would like to help to improve the situation with lack of choise, the situatuion with lack of interesting ideas. Recruit young designers, make the blueprint contests, recruit people to watch over the websites, find sponsors - IMPROVE THE *fckng* INDUSTRY!

    does anyone know like how these skates compare to the razor icon skate. I’m deciding which pair to get and want to know if it is worth it to spend the extra 70 dollars. if anyone could get back to me on that it would be great.
