I agree, my first thought exactly. I’m glad they brought back the Stockwell-steez metal-eyelets…. but comon, can’t we at least get a different boot color? Different cuff? Something to differentiate/spice them at least a bit more? I wasn’t a huge fan of the white genesis to begin with…. but, because I have no choice, and it’s impossible to get any previous model of skate since they never remake/reissue them (WHY?????), these will be my next.
Oh, and let’s just hope THE LACE EYELETS DONT RIP OUT as easy as they did in the S6 Reins. =/

they dont have to get a new boot mold, but atleast make some changes to the buckle or souls or something. improvments can always be made, so make them.

I have no problem with Razors using the same boot mould. They look quite nice and from what i hear, they skate very well. The only problem is the colour scheme, it would be great if they would experiment with different shell and cuff colours, but i guess this is too much of a risk for the company. To me these look exactly like the G4 skates with grey highlights. As for the liners, they seem a little over the top as anyone who has skated a far simpler liner such as Salomon will agree.
All in all, the true Razor fans will lap these up, everyone else will be left pondering what the next Razor scheme will be: Black with white cuffs, white with black cuffs? or something very similar. Bring on the new Aragon soul system. xx

I heard that they are trying to make as many skates with the genesys mold so they can get rid of them and start making skates in the arogon mold. I could be wrong because this is just what i heard.

funny how someone said that this boot mold isn’t new enough, so they’re gonna skate valos…. valos use the m12 shell which is almost 30 years old!
and the backslides line up perfectly with the frame groove, what are you talking about? they just modified the backslide plate last year so it lines up perfectly with all the new GC’s.

To : Deshi Skater, please note that remz released 3 of the same haffey skates, then 2 of the same skates with the 03’s then again with the 06’s
oh and they are all the same mold the only thing differant with them is the colours and the cut of the material

Yo the Razors boot is such a good skate…why change it. They are obviously still testing the mould for the new aragon skate why doesn’t everyone just chill out and be patient, this boot works.
Whoever said the razors boot is poorly made has obviously never skated them for a long time as they are super durable and I haven’t managed to break a pair since the full soulframe came out.

The whole setup looks so fucken nice. But I don’t like the “diamond”-material. I had the kizers suspension frames with the diamondblock, and it was very weird. Sometimes it sleded but sometimes not. Very weird material. And that’s why I’ll keep my gc hi-lo’s =)

GET A FUCKING NEW IDEA!!! Im so sick of the same concept the liners are nice but the boot is old. I say fuck that. Razors are a good skate, so why not try something new? I mean they could maybe find that they make something even better, and if not well then its not like they cant fall back on a new razor skate in a different color.

why not make an entirely new boot mold just to satisfy a bunch of whiny grommets? because new boot molds are hundreds of thousands of dollars, which with the present size of rollerblading wouldn’t be possible, and the present one works great.
can any of you say WHAT you’d like to see changed in a new boot? no. because you just want to see something that looks new and cool.
all the deshi models since the spizers are the same boot construction with different cosmetic panels sewn over the top.
the boot mold for classic thrones is ten years old now.
salomons’ is about 8 years old. the softboot salomons are based on the same mold and are at least 6 years old.
TRS’s came out the same year as the genesys/murda.
new-style K2’s came out maybe a year after that.
Remz have been making the same basic skate with new skins for about four years now.
roces and valo are based on the original inline skate boot, which was originally designed for ice skates…… in the 1970’s.
rollerblading is too damned small for boot companies to sell enough skates to be able to afford to do a new mold more than every five or six years. please shut the fuck up!
BTW….. Murda3’s hit shops in about a week and a half and are going to be $269.

Okay I’ve been riding longer than some of you have been alive. I rode razor most of my skate life. I got tired of them putting out the same shit year after year. The most creative change they went through was from the 2 k’s to the boot of now and that’s been ten years now. I ride Deshi now and I don’t love them but at least they keep trying to change their shit up. Razor, evolution is the only way to stay in the game. Look at Salomon, They kept the same design and only changed up the outside sole plate. Don’t go that way. This is Mike’s Third Skate, You honestly lost Stockwell cause you can’t change. don’t lose the race cause you’re too stuck on how much it’s gonna cost if it doesn’t do well. yeah it cost you 100,000 for each mold and then roughly 25 per skate. Still You would destroy the market if you actually changed up your boot design, and by change I don’t mean go back to the old elliott design. I mean move forward, go another route. I miss not having your skates on my feet and not having to cut my liners to put my foot in comfortably. But I’m too creative and innovative to allow myself to be satisfied with fried Ice cream (just in a different color).
Learn from K2 and Salomon. It’s not always great to live by the advice of “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it” cause it is broke, you just don’t see that it needs fixing.
There’s a new skate company coming out and GOD help you if you can’t change with the time. You’re losing more and more of your core audience cause of your belief that your team and your shotty skates will help keep you in the lead. Don’t do it. Please. Make skating your skates a new experience again, please.

It’s the Shima 3’s…………re-released…..with a Jug liner…….maybe modified 3% of the skate.
Can’t wait to see the Aragon’s, don’t think Razor skate mould has changed in about 9 years.

Your company may have some of the hottest rollers around on it but you may lose them if you don’t innovate.
Salomons didn’t change, K2’s didn’t change.
USD’s used to never change but at least they had different mould types (Grycon range, Psirius range, Throne range) and even at that they’re now branching out and tryin’ new things.
Deshi’s used to SUCK and with every model they release they get better and better.
Razors may be at the top of their game right now on the surface but the rollers that fans of Razors have fallen in love with won’t be around for all eternity.
Razors…..your company is great but if you just took the risk it could get SO much better!
