   Yeah just another reason why the rollerblading industry sucks… The “bearing company” is for skateboarders and he supports a skateboarding flow team. If your gonna support rollerblading support it to the fullest and put the money back into the sport not skateboarding.

   ray mendez might not be the best skater, but he sure was a hell of a skater in 95-96” u prolly where shitting your pants while he was killing some rails in the bronx (no limit video) and he is doing stuff for the sport, and is having fun just rolling around…

   it trips me out how a “rollerblader” could spit on another like that….its so cheap…and im spiting on you cause for me ur not a blader.

   i dont see it as he is putting money into skateboarding as much as he is making money off skateboarding. there aren’t enough jobs in rolling for everybody, but you have to make money some where. he makes money selling bearings to skateboarders, i make money flipping burgers, you make money how ever you have to.

    actually i just checked out his website and he sponsers rollerbladers, so that would make him that much more dope, dude sells bearings to skateboarders and turns around and sponsers rollerbladers haha, you know what i mean?

    The only thing that sucks, is that we see no good tricks in the editing, it’s TYPICAL of TV, always a bunch of morons who dont know how to film and edit shit, i’m sorry to see the put more emphasis on the bails at the end then any other trick in the profile, once again we look like fools…

RAY mendez is one of them…the story behind ROCKSTAR bearings is a long deep story and ray is making shit happen off something SKATEBOARDER wanted to do to help ROLLERBLADING and that skateboarder has passed away and will be remembered by many…RIP HAROLD HUNTER. see harolds brother RON HUNTER also a legend in NYC and skating history is an old pro from the 90s. Harold was at woodward 2 summers ago while Rachard was out there with me for a few weeks and it came about then…because HAROLD has always had love for rollerblading and wanted to help out since he started ROCKSTAR with his friend adrian. So harold made it happen and ray was the inline manager and in charge….then harold passed away and it was up in the air but adrian also shows love and ray and adiran are keepin it alive…so support. fuck that hating bullshit…skateboarders rollerblading bikers everything….we all doin our thing. help each other out help your own out.show love.

    i agree with kilgore…. i’m 32 yrs. old now and have been skating since back in 93. the younger kids really have no idea who or what started skating. they come into the sport with all custom skates and tons of videos to watch and well… back in the day i had my rb lightnings and waited for the next vg to hit the market. find an old school skater and ask to borrow some vids of what it was like way back. i sure am glad i was in it from the start so i can see how much has changed and will change. i was in it during the greatest time for rollerblading and i still skate. my 3 yr old son has some skates and he will be educated to the fullest on everything - plus he will have some sick old school t’s to skate in too…. i am saving everything i have for him to keep it real. everyone that rolls needs to just have fun and enjoy it and keep it real.
