  9. Jay Says:

i liked it. i like wat he said about the online haters.

and its true, why just promote skating to skaters? show the world as well.

  10. Beef Says:

i heard he was a huge douche , but when i met him in person he seemed pretty chill. everyone in the greater nyc area carries that cocky attitude that your all ripping on him for from the BET interview, its just how it goes down in an area with a lot of competition and a major lack of dollar bills. only in nyc can you find some dude killin shit in old beat to shit trs’s cause he cant afford new skates… i love nyc

  11. Wrekshop Ryan Says:

Any rollerblader who knows anything would (or should) agree that Ramelle Knight is good for rollerblading. Everyone should thank him for what he is trying to do for our sport. There is also absolutely nothing wrong with having confidence or appearing to be cocky about your own skating either. If most of ya’ll on here could skate like Ramelle im sure you would act pretty damn cocky too. Watch his section in the B Unique video. Some of ya’ll should probably re-watch it again. Fuck the haters, keep doing your thing Ramelle!

  12. seanpquinn Says:

    yeeeesh!
    grind box?

  13. jigidy j Says:

ramelle knight is a piece of shit

  14. Hoodhood Says:

fuck that YOU are the piece of shit, what do you do to promote rollerblading…probably nothing. You should be thanking Ramelle.

  15. gay Says:

i agree with wrekshop ryan ^ but i never see any good skating from him since freestyle rolling. i totally agree that telling ppl u rollerblade is annoying when they think you speed skate. hate having to explain it further all the time. good interview.

  16. kuntaciacho Says:

    good interview

  17. hadji Says:

Why doesn’t rollernews control these coments FFS…
RN is full of people who can’t skate but sure can talk shit…

    Ramelle is good for rollerblading…

  18. sick sick Says:

i like to promote people in rollerblading that i think make rollerblading look good, dressing up like some lame ass rapper talking about how you are sponsored by mountain dew and you ride for some guy that said he ” wants to get that tony hawk money” , you make us look bad, so does dipskate. when is all this lame ass im so hard, look how much i have bullshit trend going to die. its been going on for so long don’t people in rap/hip hop ever evolve. when does it get old?

  19. enough already Says:

gangster and rollerblader now that is the biggest fucking oxymoron ever,
you arent hard you are a fucking rollerblader

  20. Giorgio.o Says:

    i was ready to hate
but it wasnt so bad.. he’s doing what he thinks is good for rollerblading you can agree or disagree. he is doing somthing.

  21. I Hate Haters! Says:

People like Ramelle make blading look cool. Most of you talking shit here are the reason why people dont like our sport.

Rollerblading is Gay cuz of you guys

    Damn……….

  22. Smashing Dumplings Says:

“when is all this lame ass im so hard, look how much i have bullshit trend going to die. its been going on for so long don’t people in rap/hip hop ever evolve. when does it get old?”

“gangster and rollerblader now that is the biggest fucking oxymoron ever,
you arent hard you are a fucking rollerblader”

I agree 100%, people who think they are ruthless gangsters, if someone came upto to me on rollerblades trying to jack me I would laugh at them, and probably give them a few quid out for the comedy value. Rollerblading is something that is amazing and spectacular not to be related to ruthless and murderous attitudes. Times are-a-changing but some people just get left behind.

  23. lilsam Says:

RaMeLLE KInight is the worst, when i met him he was soooo cocky it was unreal.

he actually thinks hes the ‘best rapper alive’
    best skater.
    best artist,
    best writer.

trys to be so unique but he still looks like every other rollerblader.
baggy jeans, doo rag, smokes weed etc.

the only top 5 he is in, is top 5 worst guys ever.
check out http://www.ramelleknight.com to see how much of a dang he really is.

  24. lilsam Says:

look at the state of him in that picture.

    complete loser.

    freestyle douchbag.

    get a job you slacker.

any wonder people give him so much shit when hes like that

  25. madhatter Says:

i like his name, but it always makes me hungry cause i think of Ramen

  26. seanpquinn Says:

    two sides.

dude is putting forth effort to better rollerblading. can’t hate. also, dude is from somewhere in new york, that most of us haven’t ever been. imma inner-city motherfucker, and swag is swag. in detroit, there is a way to carry yourself and what not. people can love rap and still blade, or be from the streets and still blade. he represents a different faction of blading.

other hand. grind box? fly box? more personality shots then blading shots which is whack. shoulda went @ it a little more hard, you know?

oh. and tony hawk money? fly a kite if you think that is stupid. because blading needs that tony hawk money. if you have a close friend in the industry, you’d know it is almost a swan song to see professional bladers not making any money. gotta get that “feddy” to stay up and keep up.

being underground only makes you cool freshmen year @ art school. get over it.

  27. Hyper Mike from NYC Says:

whO WANNA BATTLE, SHOW THAT MONEY!! BECAUSE WE MAKEING WAY MORE THE THE REAL PROS ARE HAHAHAH LOSERS . COME TO NYC !!! YEAH I READ THIS TIME TOO TIME . HAHAHAHH

    HYPER MIKE OUT!!

  28. johnny kinbald Says:

1st off fuck who ever said that hip hop and rapping dont mix with rollerblading…like how dumb can you guys be ramelle knight is not the only person with the hip hop style of rollerbalding..have you seen julian bah or franky morales murda or rachard johnson skate..heck rachard always had red on hes black nd tall youd think hes a gangbanger at 1st but hes a kool guy and franky smoke all the time and hes a kool person too juss because someone has that hip hop aperance doesnt make them a bad person..look at the ice cream skate team with pharell and those guys there all about hip hop nd every 1 likes skateborading now i was was hype when i herd about jim jones makin his own rollerblading team there helping the sport so stop hating

  29. lilsam Says:

still dont understand why he gets so much attention and that

when i met him he was basiclay like ‘whatever’ everytime i said he was sick and shit

    =//////////

  30. Jay Says:

I agree on the gangster appearence, just cause they dress like that, dosent mean they are trying to make rolling look gangsta. some rollers dress like skateboarders, minus the fat sneakers. all rollers dress differently, unlike alot of skateboarders who wear everything that comes out of Zumiez’s ass.

Rammele is atleast doing something to help rolling, like alot of companies that are doing the same, some people hate on companies like B Unique and TRS, those companies do stuff as well to help, they sponser events and skate vids, what more do the haters want from them?

I also that Jim Jones thing, i dont even think that he cares about rolling, someone said that on a radio intterview that Jim said ” i sponser a skateboard team”. maybe he made a mistake or somthing, oh well.

  31. Jay Says:

Also Ram’s skating is alot better now, he used to step up on grinds when he rode TRS and remz. but on recent videos he skates betters with deshi.

  32. assssssssss Says:

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK ASS BITCHASS NIGGA CANT RAP

  33. true to one self Says:

melle, I don’t understand these people. What is it that you’re doing that makes them hate you? You are a positive impact on rollerblading. PERIOD. You may not represent everyone the way they want you to, but that’s their responsibility. You’re doin your thing, and I see that. Keep on Mel.

and what these haters don’t understand is that hate is just a form of jealousy in most cases. they can’t beat em, and they ain’t good enough to join em, so they bash em.

god. is anyone real anymore? seriously?

mel- i know they ain’t breakin you. showin off the most hated on shirt came off real strong. loved it. just know you do got supporters. i’m a big supporter. and we the only ones that represent something. we support you. that’s all that matters.

and for the rest of you hatin mother fuckers….

YOU SEE ME! HUSTLE HARD. STACK PAPER. IT’S ALRIGHT. YA’LL HATERS. IT’S NOTHIN. WE MAJOR. YOU SEE ME. HI HATER! HI HATER! HI HATER! YOU SEE ME. HI HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAHAAHA ALL YOU HATIN BITCHES IF YOU HATE ON ROLLERBLADING GO TO A SKATEBOARD FORUM.

  34. Smashing Dumplings Says:

Whats he really doing to help rollerblading besides rollerblading?

You make him sound like some kind of rollerblading savior when all he does is add to this rollerblading gangster image, which is false because we all know that rollerblading is not gangster, never will be and never should be.

  35. true to one self Says:

givin someone congrats is not worshiping them,….. it’s giving them congrats. again. with the whole representation. you need to see past that shit because it gets you no where. like any other type of social group there is no “one way”. aren’t there gangster skateboarders. aren’t there super tight jean wearing skateboarders? aren’t there rebellious activist skateboarders? you wanna know what ramelle is doing? he is rollerblading. you said it. and yet everyone still hates. where is the logic in that. he is getting known. he is getting coverage for the sport. everyone knows who he is. who the – - – - are you? exactly. he’s makin it.

how does anyone expect to move forward if we take one step forward and three steps back? we need to come together on this and make it happen. it’s like any type of game. if your teammates start fighting you loose sight of whats important and ultimately lose. we can’t let that happen. and if you do loose sight and get caught up, then obviously the game isn’t that important to you now is it.

  36. Yes Says:

Yeah i think he is doing something good for our sport. Just becuase he doesnt look “cool” to a “true” rollerblader doesnt mean he doesnt look cool to someone who doesnt know the sport…which can bring more people into the sport and will let them figure out what they love about rollerblading for them selves.

  37. c'mon people Says:

seriously, don’t question what job one person has when I can read you commenting more than twice. Obviously you need a job too.

The other thing, when punk and rock were being promoted through skating it wasn’t an issue. Hip hop is popular like it or not and it is the vehicle you need to bring your sport to the mainstream. Respect it for what it is!

  38. nycgoon Says:

yo shut the fuck up all u fagots that are hating i wanna see u come to new york talkin that bullshit i bet half of u cant even fuckin skate u fuckin side line jocks.u guys probly go to a session and just sit there and watch kids rip it cause u have no tricks of ur own.ur the 1 thats makin rollerblading look bad…fuckin faggots go suck brian shimas dick or some shit cause maybe if he was doin it u would be suckin his dick right now saying omg thats the best thing for rollerblading fuckin cock suckas

  39. ralf Says:

hahah wahts the deal with ramelle knight thinking he can actually skate?

  40. Smashing Dumplings Says:

That was said perfectly Ralf, spot on mate haha

  41. www Says:

HE LOOKS LIKE HE’S 44 YEARS OLD

  42. nimhnelson Says:

aight so, i skate with ramelle alot. he is definatly one of the coolest guys i know, he is very, very good at rollerblading. ive seen him do some of the hardest shyt at three in the morning in the rain. people that have been to bittercold for the past couple years know that ramelle kinght and john stevens rip it. ramelle also is coming back from a knee injory. i dont understand why you would hate sombody for being themselves and rollerblading, why dont you hate on people that wear thick ass fucking glasses wear girl jeans that show their ass crack in every section their in and have different color hair. ?. or a guy with missing/cracked teeth wearing girl pants. or a guy that at everycompetition wears bright orange pants and does ballerina backflips every 30 secs?. not saying their not good but why hate on the guy that lives in a “ghetto” and still manages to show the world in some way rollerblading. think about it you ignorant people that are judging him, and look at the skaters you look up to. stockwell, broskow, seizmore. grow up. and if you still dont believe he is any good play come to nyc and battle him.
