i think letting rachard go wasnt such a bad move it saves them(usd) a fair bit in the long run and helps newer talent get repped like jeff dalnas , but the bigger mistake by usd was letting steven swain go whonow skates for rollerblade he would have been more than sutible to replace rachrd considering in a lot of comps hes aragons biggest rival and almost always finishing in the top 3 but this move by usd gives rachard a fresh start an i say gud luk …..im still on his usd ther the best!!

This topic brought out alot of the the things that needed to be said about rollerblading. It seems like alot of us are starting to look past ourselves, and trying to make something real for us all. I’m optimistic about our future, and that’s the first time I could ever say that since I first began to skate. Sure, when I started it was better times. But, we were on our way down. For the 1st time, in my ten dedicated years, I see us moving forwards, and that is pretty cool.

gawd..I hope remz dont do something STUPID like give him a pro skate. Much respect to him but theres much more people skating just as hard if not harder than him…ie some euro cats. if they do then ill know that they respect image more above than anything else. THINK.

Juice and Scott wilcoxson, I love you too! no more words, this is rollerblading wisdom you too got, along with danielsen, I wish there was more people like this in the “command center” of rolling. take skateboarding for instance… you got steeve caballero a 40 year older that made a living off skateboarding, still skates, and every single one of the skateboarders have mad respect for him… no wonder why rollerblading has no identity… no more to add… just a bad move by USD… reminds me of rollerblade letting all riders go, in their best shape…

this is a bigger shock then when usd let feinberg go but it was generally the same scenario it just saddens me to see rollerblading in the state it is today and with the economy the way it is i wonder if rollerblading will ever be were it was years ago, whos to say?

I agree w/ danielson, except that dipset/dipskate & B.unique help the most for blading exposure. Valo also gets a bit of exposure to outsiders, also just from making sick looking skates that look cool to outsiders of the sport because they are like shoes gets alot of exposure

I agree with Danielson. Bunique/Dipskate are definately helping the industry. They’re re-introducing rollerblading to the mainstream. Btw, his skates look so nice. I would get those if I skated Remz. Be a Rocker, hip-hop, emo, or hipster, whatever style you represent does not matter. All that matters is you have boots on your feet with wheels underneath them.
