Aragon keeps defying skating. Keep in mind that he had SICK tricks back in 03 (when he was in his teens), and still does. Go watch his sections in Straight Jacket, Ego, etc… etc… you’ll notice he’s only progressed. Keep it up Aragon.

Damn, that stale 540 was absolutely sick! Tweaked out and perfectly grabbed, and a BIG gap to boot.
I still think DL’s ditch 540 at the end of his BFG section is probably the sickest one ever laid on tape though.

People still hating on Dre, at least the guy is still out there and promoting. He is a TEAM rider, meaning when Mac asks him to do something he does it. Plus the guys is way marketable, have you guys met him? He is way nice and will talk to anyone, which can often be more valueable than some one that just “skates good” to a company.
If becoming pro was based just on skating, than Jeph would have been pro after his Game Theory section.

I enjoyed this edit as much as the other razors edits. I understand that the song isn’t liked by others, but to each is their own.

i don’t know why people hate on him so much it’s really pathetic of us as an industry, dre has been holding in down for a while. With all due respect does majority people know how hard to keep up with aragon in the same edit???? I think people forget that aragon is a beast and majority people that are in edits with him always get forgotten or shit on.

DRE POWELL is a TRUE PROFESSIONAL of our sport like it or not, he may not kill it every edit but still holds it down for a LONG TIME, I enjoy his “ninja” style because most can’t replicate it on their best day. Dre puts in work behind the Scenes that most of us don’t see and he needs the respect that is due to him

“pro” doesn’t come down to who is the best skater. why is that so hard for people to understand? skate companies are BUSINESSES, they don’t care who can do the most tricks, they care who sells the most skates. figure that out, explain it to your hometown hero that is “better than all the pros” and let them apply it to their skating and life. copying the pros and doing the tricks they did years ago will not make you a pro. even if you do it better than they did. do YOUR OWN THING and when people start copying you (aka you’re selling skates) then that is when you will be a pro. thank you and good night.

No one buys skates because Dre Powell’s name is on the skate. Razors was tying to create a “hood” image for their brand, which is why they had Dre, Bah, Rachard, Eric Rodriguez and Murda. But the only person who anyone cares about on Razors is Aragon, who is the most un-hood person in rollerblading. Razors neds to rethink their skates and their image. Their skates are so last decade, and they have lost to Carbons, and their team is made up of people no one respects except for Aragon.

Dre is still Pro because the rollerblading industry does everything wrong. Its why we are, where we are, and skateboarding is a booming industry.
Case in point, a 12 year old just did a 1080 in skateboarding, something the old guys could never do. He wil be propelled to stardom, featuted in the X-Games this year, make appearances on Disney Channel and become a household name by the age of 14. He will get kids excited to skateboard.
If a rollerblader did something big, he would be told his style sucks, and wait till you’re about 27 years old to pay your dues and suck Jon Julio’s dick a few times before becoming pro.
Everyone in America will know who the skateboard kid is, but who the fuck is Dre Powell? A true professional would help grow the sport, not just make edits doing the same fucking trick you’ve been doing for 10 years, a trick that any rollerblader can do.
