  1. stylekyle Says:

basically casualty but even worse. instead of spending all that money making another shit company that will fizzle out in 6 months why don’t you spend it on one of the three good clothing companies in rollerblading and help them grow. rollerblading will never grow if instead of people supporting the companies that do it right every kid starts their own replica company of something they like out of antenna and print up three single colour designs on triple a t-shirts.

  2. god save the queer Says:

dear style kyle what the fuck are you talking about? if this guy wanna start his own company from A to Z with his own motherfuckin graphics and develop his own business that’s his right. you need to chill man, we’re not living in a cult where everyone will wear the same shirt.

  3. one [not the mag] Says:

    Oh boy, another clothing company…………

  4. ado Says:

    stylekyle,
It’ll be wise that you direct your hate at the companies you don’t hear of and you should be thankful that you don’t hear of them because they do exist.

You see this promo advertisement and edit on Rollernews because it is legit and not only here to stay but it has been around before I even heard of Casualty, not that Joey G doesn’t work just as hard.

This line of graphic T’s is created by a guy who’s been skating for years and paying the bills as a designer for just as many. Jose, a Puerto Rico native has been supporting his home scene abroad and here in NY & has also been developing the Psyko brand for years and it is in no means a new company but rather a “newer” company.

Folks should also realize that everyone cannot wear the same 3 brands and we should also be proud when someone promotes something good via Rolling instead of pretending that they have nothing to do with the sport like other compainies have done in the past.

  5. iicents Says:

what a stupid name. oh yeah, IMHO (in my [own] humble opinion).

  6. devils toenails Says:

well butter me up and slip me a digit, you’re all bloody psyko.

  7. one [not the mag] Says:

    ado,
we don’t need to wear “skate” brands 27/7/365

  8. one [not the mag] Says:

    wow typo
    sorry, i meant 24/7/365

  9. nyconer Says:

the shirts look cool…i think its nice to see more legit clothing companies come out of nyc as opposed to those companies youve never heard of but are around here and there like ado says..the edit could have been better quality wise…would be great to have a amazing edit associated with your company when somone first hears about it..not just an “ok” edit/promo/ad whatever u wanna call it….cant wait to see more tho.

  10. flowskate Says:

    siick!
    really good
    like the individuality
not just the clothing, the edit was cool, realy fresh and unique

    stop with your bullshit hating
this doesnt have to just be a rolling company
the style is that of quite a unique clothing brand in general
    mad props to you!”

  11. Kallio Says:

Nice edit, nice skating! But why that Joy division song again? Love to see more!

  12. nahmean Says:

Stop hating man. This looks way more decent than half the corny shit I see at bitter cold. I respect a rollers grind. Point blank. From the looks of the line at a closer view, it does kind of rub off as mad cliche but It still looks visually more appealing than some rolling lines out there. Let the man hustle. That’s all I have to say.

  13. wtf Says:

seriously, why the fuck would you hate a new company that actually puts some effort into their shit. you can tell from their ad, site, edit, and t-shirt graphics that they arent just some shitty company printing small logos on a shirt. this brand looks respectable, has a decent price, wasnt started by a 16 year old on mom and dad’s money, and has more creative and mature graphics than a lot of companies out there (eg vibralux.) not that i dont respect adam johnson for what he does in general, but the truth is he just isnt that good at making videos or clothing. sorry, “i hate to hate it” but i have to. support real brands.

  14. No EMOs:p Says:

sounds like your some emo, hate this hate that wtf, yea it can be cliche, but their not throwing crap out there with no effort, well said WTF

  15. b.ballog Says:

Since when is 3 single color designs a bad thing? There is so much detail and layering that they look great. As a graphic designer who produces his own shirts I commend them for doing such a great job and making a nice edit. Looks better than half the shit the “big” companies are putting out.

  16. Henry Says:

    song?

  17. mere Says:

    somos peligrosos sociales

  18. Smashin Dumplins' Says:

This guys likes Charles Dunkle lots, which is cool with me.

Hey did anyone notice that yellow handrail that looked exactly like the one that Dave Kollasch and Rawlinson Rivera skate in Puerto Rico in Hoax 3?

    Mad as lorries!!

  19. irollerblade Says:

that edit was really sick ive never even heard of that dude

  20. Paulizzle Says:

the aces wild shirt is sick.

  21. Paulizzle Says:

“Looks better than half the shit the “big” companies are putting out.”

    true.

  22. longinus Says:

nup, call me a hater but i’m thumbs down on this one. The edit was pretty weak, cliche tricks like skating a water feature, grinding a chain, grinding a gate that moves etc… seems like mr Ale Velez is trying to be “individual” by doing all the same “individual” tricks that the real innovators like Latimer (gate that moves in Coup D’Etat), Farmer (water feature in BANG intro) and Oli (chain grind god knows when) did years ago.

And i don’t give props to any company that launches with only t-shirts and only three different designs, two of which you can scan straight out of an anatomy textbook, and the other one you could p-shop off a google image search of “santa maria” in about half an hour. It’s just gonna be another set of overheads that rollerblading has to support. If Vibralux really doesn’t have as good designs as this company then they should hire the guy and rollerblading might actually make a profit.

On its own this company is most likely struggling to make ends meet if it really wants to support rollerblading the talent would help a lot more if it was contributed to a company that’s already got some kind of profile.

  23. killgore Says:

props to jose and his brand finally getting recognition… hes been doing this for a while and i support him 100%

cant wait to see you again homie.

  24. joshnyc Says:

i want to say thank you all, especially roller news. Its been a hard couple of years for this company to get the funds to get started, long hours and lot of work.
First off I want to thank you all for all your comments, good and bad, its cool if you dont like it, everyone is individual, I’m not trying to be ‘cool’, just trying to get the company out there and all feedback is positively taken.
I want to thank all you supporters out there, we are putting together the winter line, it should be out by the end of november.
Check the web site out for updates. BIG thanks to alejandro velez, miguel ramos, and everyone in puerto rico for there support, WE ARE PELIGROSOS SOCIALES!!!!

  25. Cody Sanda's Says:

Haha, the clothes are neat, fuckheads.

  26. DOH! Says:

    horrible name.

  27. ednyc Says:

    sick graphics…

  28. wtf Says:

longinus, you are more than a hater, you are a retard. hes cliche by skating chains, water features and moving gates? because everyone does that right? if skating something that someone else has already skated before is cliche, you better quit rollerblading. have you ever skated in a skatepark, on a rail, or on a ledge? UH OH, youre cliche. that means i dont like you! conformist! no one ever said he was trying to be an innovator, i dont know what would impress you… grinding on a cow? pretty sure no ones ever done that… what about a cess slide down a pyramid? that might be original. hmm what else… he could try to grind a telephone wire… only when someone does that will i respect their clothing brands.

shut up, you tool. youre cliche for hating.

  29. god save the queer Says:

dear longinus : is it cliche to skate fakie too ? i have seen people roll backward, should i do the same or would i look lame?

  30. b.ballog Says:

You can’t make t-shirts with graphics this big from images on google. Inspiration or an image to trace…maybe. But who cares? Some of our most recognizable skate t-shirts are very very very uncomplicated. The franco shade ghost? The mindkind logo. B-Unique’s overuse of Helvetica and “Thank God for Skating”? Not hard to make. The execution is what sells. Whether it be colors, marketing, gold ink, i don’t care. There is a message and a thought out process. Producing shirts is not easy, nor is it cheap. Adding an extra color can raise the cost x2. Props to anyone who is making shirts to help promote rollerblading or the expression associated with it.

  31. Oskars Says:

  32. edouard Says:

everyone fuck off and get the fuck out or put the fuck up!!!

Thanx to people like Longinus, Stylekyle and One (What kind of fuckin’ names are those anyway?) our industry is the way it is. Josh is not some “kid” starting a “new company”. He is a hard working skater that truly believes in rollerblading as a way of life. If U don’t like his shit go and buy your shit elsewhere then but do not fuckin’ start the hate here. Ale Velez has been skating for a long time. Have U seen Step 2? He rolled with some of the best skaters Puerto Rico as produced like Jose Cuervo, Christian Rodriguez and Abdiel Colberg back in the day. Ale flawless skating as always to show the world what puertoricans are all about. Congratulations on the edit and we R waiting for U to come visit the M@ya B@buL Cr3W in the West Side. Longinus if U really skate come to Puerto Rico and prove it bitch! Go to http://www.youtube.com/Rollin4MoneY and U R welcome to criticize me too jodio huelebicho!!
