Pics Of The Deshi Carbon (Soulplate Included)

deshi carbon

quoting Oli Benet:

So i just picked up the skates from a friends house, and its the first time i have had the soulplate in my hands, and the finished item.

I love the soulplate, its so light but still feels tough. The skate is so light and small its ridiculous. In fact its so damn small that its a size to small for me. I was so excited on these things to skate them at last but the sample size is just too small. Ill try and get a decent edit up with Jefferson Santana ASAP.

    those are definitely remedyz !!

  2. Spen Says:

They are going for the same idea behind remz for sure. They are very similar to the first ever Remz in that they are as tight fitting and “shoe like” as possible. I do skate remz and love them but they have evolved to become alot bigger and chunkier than the original 97 idea. These seem to have hit that idea on the head, I really want to try these puppies, shame on the cost though. I hear they are £4trillion boot only. Woud like to see Haffey try these and see what he thinks coming from years of skating Remz.

  3. Smashin' Dumplings Says:

Yeah the old remz were the best, simple design, as soon as the new ones came out I turned my nose up at them, they just look bulky and over dressed, the best comparison is the classic english mini compared to the new mini, its just not a mini :)

  4. jeff Says:

    what is the weight?

  5. BULLSHIT Says:

The sole plate looks like a piece of shit. The toe is totally exposed, what happens after you drag it a few times? Why have the testers said that this boot is not comfortable? What happens after you rip the inside of the boot around your heel and can’t replace it?

POWERSLIDE IS TRYING TO RAPE ROLLERBLADERS!!!!! WTF?? They jack up the price on all their new products and try to sell us new poorly designed products. Fucking greedy cunts.

“What happens after you rip the inside of the boot around your heel and can’t replace it?”
the same thing that all olders deshi… ITS A SOFTBOOT same as k2, u cant replace the inside… and why just now u will worry about that???
Colin Kelso didnt say that is unconfortable…
and if u say that the toe is exposed, why most of the people use USD 2 pcs???

  8. ya boy Says:

the skate isnt even in production….
i pre-orderd it from grindhouse…and a day later the removed the skate from the website….

    wankers

    dont fall for it

  9. stifrontline Says:

i hate these skates cheap crap for 325

  10. stifrontline Says:

i will rather buy usd than these deshi carbon crap skates

  11. Aquarius Says:

Why hating something that you never tried?
In my opinion the first deshi were the best coz there was no liner, the skate fit like a shoe, you have more control, less weight. Look at the buckle, I hate traditional buckle with an inside strap coz they hurt my legs on some tricks like ao sun, now it will be perfect with that new system.
Deshi come back to the roots!!

  12. blahdy blah ninja9 Says:

pretty sure they are nothing like Remz, Remz have layers like the liner plastic shell then material over the cuff, this skate is all one layer making it less bulky and lighter like a shoe or hockey skate. I heard much testing and work has gone into this skate, which is probably why the release date has been pushed back. this is far from a crap skate , they used kevlar material which I think is light and strong and probably expensive, the design is original for aggressive inline market and will probably be groudbreaking and set new standards in this industry.

  13. blahdy blah ninja9 Says:

dont like the flat part of the back of the sole plate, should wrap on like the front

  14. didine Says:

What is the smallest size ?

  15. DazC Says:

these look the shit, I know they skate shit hot aswell, as seen by my good friend Aidy. I can see alot of thought and improvement has gone into these, I reckon these will be my next pair of skates after my os2′s are unskateable, which will probably be in a couple of months, gotta be the white ones for me.

  16. fuck taht Says:

FUCK THAT SHIT! BUY RAZORS, REMZ OR USD!

  17. MB Says:

It seems to me that Deshi is “going for it” on this one. Paying $325. for a boot only is quite a bit. Then again, Valo is charging $280. for AE’s bullshit art. It will be interesting to see if this puts Deshi at the top of the game or if they end up bankrupt.

  18. Miguel Says:

throw some white 2 peice ufs throne plates and white laces those would look ill.

  19. Ben Says:

    buy XSJADOOOOOO….

  20. JasonMarshall Says:

Deshi will go bankrupt with these Remz copies! They claim this skate is original but it’s not. They just ripped off the old school remz and added a one piece soul plate and ufs frames. Man they messed up with these skates. Especially if Remz decides to bring back their old school models with a modern touch. You know what, Remz should do that and sell it for much cheaper, They will destroy Deshi and put them out of business. Imagine that folks, the old school remz brought back but with some slight modern touches like ufs frames and the new remz 1 piece soul plate and back slide plate. Those would be fucking sick and a true original!!!!

  21. blahdy blah ninja9 Says:

do you think these are Remz copies just because the side design looks like the shape of the plastic on the side of Remz. It is a one layer skate and uses carbon and Kevlar, you should give them props just for using those materials. How can you say shit like ‘fuck Deshi’ and ‘Remz will put Deshi out of business’? This is a Rollerblading brand coming out with new ideas to help the progression of Rollerblading.

  22. stifrontline Says:

these skates are just like remz when the liner go’s bad the skates becomes shit any 1 should get usd because everything is replicable

  23. madlove4rolling Says:

I think blahdy blah ninja9 has a point but I do have to agree, It does look a lot like remz. Having skated deshi before I know their skates are awesome. JasonMarshall try out the skates first before you judge them.

  24. Rollingdist46 Says:

sweet azz skate for sure! from what you can see on vimeo colin show what it do! slip azz, more direct control.. well as most co.s these days comfort is a standard in the industry… so they will sweet and worth giving a fair go… ;)

  25. Rollingdist46 Says:

    slim azz**

  26. alooosh Says:

omg its a realy nice sk8 i never tryed it before but i think its cool i love it

  27. get them bladesss ;) Says:

    SOOOOOO LIGHT!
It’s amazing, but somewhat uncontrolable at times [e.g. BIG AIRS!!!] lol
Much more control at grinds thouu, like you can almost feel the rail under your feet, it’s like being Jesus ;) They are so fuckin good looking, tbh i could actually wank over them wheelierollers :) the reasons why they are so light is the material they’re made of. Carbon fibre is like super strong + super lightttt! Kevlar is a very long-lasting material which, unlike the old deshi’s, wont ripp after a few hard sessions! tbh, best skates out, put it there, simple. people who avve skated other brands for years that have skated this skate once said they would switch straightt off. and youu can get ‘emmm for like £180 boot only uk, amazee like for what they are :DDD
    GET THEM! ;)

  28. stewy Says:

just got them, my mum ses im not allowed to skate em till xmas thouu lol
    i hate that feeling
im a nine shoe, got a 10, they ffit like a glove [like a cm at the end for growing room coz me feet arfe still growin] bit they fit perfect down the sides, i dont think thy’d be gud 4 people with wide feet. when u hold em there so light
i put kizer slimlines flat setup on them, cant wait 2 skate them
annoyed that i just bort these and then the usd carbons come out thou :|
the only thing im worried about is the buckle braking and like other deshi’s, the cuff feeling floppy :)

  29. kinasheigh Says:

Well…I dont give a damn what a lot of these anti-Deshi folks are saying… I have a set of Saloman Mintons…Theyre great… but they dont compare to either my Deshi DK4s NOR my Deshi Carbons…. The carbons are lighter than air and incredible tough for a soft boot. The fact that they are made from Carbon virbe, tough leather and Kevlar means that they are actually STRONGER than most of the other plastic models out there. And lets face it…what more do you want than a stong, incredible light and very easy to manipulate boot? I say anyone considering getting the Desh Carbs…go for it…you wont regret it.
