We have just finishing putting together an edit of Nimh Skates, 4×4 Wheels, Vicious Bearings and Rampworx Skatepark rider Pete Dearden skating the new Nimh boot for the first time yesterday on an actual sunny English day!!

Maybe you shouldn’t have mentionned 4 sponsor only for a nimh test, ‘cos it makes him a big head for only a standard session with park, flat rail and curb.

That guy has all those sponsors?
The British rollerblading industry is such bollocks.
So many people are sponsored just because they are friends with ‘Dave Bell’ or someone alike.
That guy is alright at skating, but Iv never heard of him, I could do nearly all of that myself, and I know a lot of people who are so much better.
Im not wanting to be disrespectful to the guy, its not his fault!
Its just so shit, the endless supply of people getting put on some sort of distribution flow team when when they are clearly good enough to be in that position.

Slightly amused by these comments, it was a chilled saturday afternoon session for a few hours, its not like this is a section full of hammers and death rials for a DVD, not trying to make the new Brain Fear Gone here ppl (any of you even around when that was out) it was skating a few local spots with his new skates for the first time.
followed by editing it after an atmosphere concert at 2 in the morning, slightly drunk…

seriously dude. his local park and thats all he can do? those ledge tricks were so slow and ugly - everything apart from the tru top porn on the trolley rack was awful - i think is shima or elliot saw this he would kick you off the team, i cant believe he is sponsored by any of those companies apart from rampworx. no hate or disrespect to him but in my eyes this is the truth.

Yes very tech, but you where in a skatepark, skating it like a streetspot. Rollerblading is a thousand times more enjoyable to watch when you can combine good solid lines, flow, and technical tricks. I don’t care how tech the tricks are, the edit was just flat out boring. I’m sorry but I think rollerblades are ment for riding, not soap shoes with wheels…

I’m not slamming his skating obviously he has talent. I just like watching people rollerblade vs people grind. Always have always will. Grinder blading takes extreme talent and persision, but it’s not as enjoyable to watch as someone like Stockwell shredding a skatepark. I’d like to see an edit of this guy doing all facets of blading in order to really “suss” out his abilities. Tech grinding only goes so far, then you need the shredding basics to combine it all.

Pete’s probably sponsored becuase he knows how to work the industry a bit, i bet theres kids out there that tearshit up, but sit at home wondering why they aren’t sponsored
in this industry as well as most media orietated industries its as much about who you know as what you know.

Less grinding, more rollerblading. Geoff is right, your tech as hell, but based on the edit alone, it’s all you do, “grinder blading”. I think your fucking good, don’t take offense, I just think blading is so versatile you shouldn’t focus soley on grinding. I didn’t see one gap, or line in that entire edit. Just single tricks on single obsticles. Fine enough, you don’t have to skate the way anyone tells you, but when you post an edit on rollernews of all places it’s an invite for critsism. At least mines constructive, and not condosending.

Man am all for critisum, this wasn’t a amazing edit I know that I mean I skated for like 5 hours in total on my new skates haha all I wanted to do was show people who I am and my sexy new fruits.
