People who rollerblade are hot
Attractive. Very.
There’s something about the way they move and slide inbetween people. So much cooler than people, say, on bikes. But not as harsh as people on skateboards. Totally not dorky the way people on scooters look.
Damn scooters.
Anyway…It’s like a compulsion. Everytime I spot one on the street, my eyes follow. And it’s not even subtle following but rather my entire head moving. There’s just something about them.
Their legs. How their backs arch to lean into the wind. That certain way they hold themselves while waiting for the light to change. That certain position to make sure they don’t roll into traffic.
The different ways people break. How some twirl to a stop. Others use the back of the rollerblade. A couple do that draggy thing with the side of their blades that I’ve yet to master (I try that and end up moving sideways).
That awesome twitchy manouver that you’ve gotta pull when dealing with streetcar tracks at full speed.
How some people can climb up stairs (dude…he was rollerblading towards it at full speed and timed it so right that the momentum leapt him up three stairs)I love spring weather like this. Guys and girls in business suits rollerblading down Bay. Clutching their satchles. It’s great.
What isn’t hot are the people rollerblading while smoking. That’s just…odd.
I mean, people who rollerblade down the street look hot. Once they take them off, maybe not so hot. But, for those 10 minutes, gliding down St. George, moving from sidewalk to street whenever necessary…sooo cool.

and totally not just writing all this because I rollerblade. btw. you know. just in case you were thinking it.

dude … why is it soo fuckin important if you are attractive or not on rollerblades … i mean c’mon … fuck the fuck off … fuck that fuckin fucker … he’s obssesed about what is attractive or not … fuckin jerk off … do this sport for you, not to be attractive … how attractive can a sport be when you jump 6 feet high and sometimes you fall on you’re ass (can’t get that right from the first time no ? ) … or holding wou’re ballance in an impossile way down a rail … i don’t find it attractive… i find it more like a adrenaline rush … when i do this there are 2 things on my mind … “do not fuckin fall” and “oooh shit, should i do a switch or settle down and grind this shit ’till it’s end”
