It seems that the “Pair” Brand is doing some aggressive skates now.
There is a black Jaren Grob skates (photo below) and it’s a bit wierd, because the name and logo are clearly photoshopped (check the large version of the picture).

HAHAHA anyone ever heard of warp? this model was my first skate but without the v/u-cut and they were real cheap skates for little kids that just started skating :S I was even testing out these old skates the otherday cuz they just layed there in my closet. And then I thought, these would need a v-cut and now THIS. It’s fucking wierd. Don’t have a picture of them but yeah you can imagine.

I think they are pretty tight,haven’t heard much from jaren grob since the able dvd (which sucked) so im not sure that pro skate is for real!
but the all black skate looks sick to me,the good thing with rec brands making aggressive skates is that they can watch the aggressive world evolve and then take all the best bits into their new skates so im guessing they skate well,only problem to me is they do seem a little heavy but im only looking and quickly judging!

The top white ones are pretty OK looking, not saying I would rock them, but it is nice to see other companies making aggressive skates. So the photos are photoshopped but it must have been to put the logos on to show off an idea of what they would look like with print. I mean the actual models had to come from somewhere, no? Only time will tell what is the real intention of this company, and maybe Jared is getting these skates because he is involved with the idea of making these aggressive skates because he knows the main guy behing ‘pair’ skates….lets just wait for more info, i guess..

Its good that rollerblading has a new skate company. Skateboarding used to have just 5-10 companies that made decks now there are probably over 100. This is just another way to hopefully make our sport grow. They look pretty cool too.

for a new brand and new skate they look quite ok,i remember when i first saw the deshi carbons,i taught they look horrible, but now i can’t wait to buy them,because little details make big things, and i think that these skates with some small modifications will look very nice, and will be very comfy to skate

honestly the first boots that any company makes are going to look atrocious. the first razors and usd’s didnt exactly look great either.
after the first couple skates come out they should start to fix some of their problems and if they stick around long enough turn into a respectable boot company.
i like the soul plate system they have going.
they definately need to take off that leather thing, and shave off alot of that heavy extra plastic (around the heel, on the cuff, etc)
plus they look like they have a shitload of heal lift, so they would need to fix that (put a powerstrap or something on it or just slim the boot a bit around the ankle)
finaly and most importantly they need a respectable pro team

Jaren Grob tried to make something of a comeback in 06 I think. He competed in the LG Championships. He was at the same level as he was in his prime, so he’s still good, just can’t compete with the new pros.

First of,,,, Yeah these do look like the forgotten bastard son of a Razors. And eventhough I always thought Jaren Grob was a descent park skater, I havn’t heard of him since the “Aggressive inline” video game, f*ing years ago. And does anybody know if any of these wierd skates ever make it to the USA? In the last couple years I’ve seen Aggressive skates come from Airwalk, Alchemy, some wird name Asian companies, and now this . But I never see any of them in an American skateshop or webshop. Are they all Walmart cheap little toy skates or something, or do they just not sell in the USA? As for how they look. I’m not sure. It has some interesting features. But I agree that the cuff& that “leather” piece look pretty stupid. They should’ve shown a pic of the bottom of the souls.
