Reed Huston (15): Little Bit of Flavor by Ryan benner
January 3rd, 2012
Reed Huston is only 15 years old and already making a name for himself in the blading scene.
I have rollerbladed along time and I have never seen someone progress as fast as Reed does. At his young age he already has a well-developed style and also a great trick vocabulary to match it.
It has been awesome to watch him grow up and be able to finally capture on film what he is able to accomplish when he pushes himself. Enjoy! – Ryan Benner. Photo.
A Little Bit Of Flavor, Vol 1
After completing 2 Much Flavor I decided it would be cool to start a web series next that showed skating from the Dayton Ohio area and surrounding cities.
This is the first volume of that project. This volume includes a new montage, Aaron Pyle park edit and a Reed Huston double section. Thanks a lot for watching and supporting what I love to do. – Ryan Benner.

January 2nd, 2012
“Hope Dies Last” is a rollerblading video that I have been working on for the last two years (due to school, work and life becoming more complicated).
This is my senior and final effort. Featuring profiles on Chris Couture, Tony Barrios, Cody Boulay and Jon Fromm. As well as skating from Jake Cawley, Eric Laban, Brian Weis, Garret Mitschelen and many more.
Hopefully this gives you a little taste on what we have been up to here in the mitten. Thank you. – Alex Beaupre.
Martin van Drunen: Aorta Profile (2010)
January 2nd, 2012Het Blok presents Aorta (Trailer), a film by Marnix Haak. The film features three in depth profiles on Eric van Boven, Joery van de Pol and Martin van Drunen: three of the best rollerbladers Holland has to offer.
Aorta has been in the making for two years now ; filming in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Enschede, Rotterdam and other spots.

This Martin van Drunen Profile is part of my second skate DVD called ‘Aorta’ which was released in 2010 (still for sale).
I never met Martin before this project, but only knew his skating from online edits and liked it a lot. So when we kidnapped him from his Rotterdam area and took him on several tours, we really got to know the guy.
Martin is awesome, a very motivated pal. We love you sleepy! Normally I would say “yeah it was a great time in Barcelona thanks for everything” but there was no ‘we’ since you slept all the time. – Marnix Haak.

Trouble: Featuring Mike Obedoza, Matt Florentino and Chuck Cauton
January 2nd, 2012
This project was a collaborative effort between the four of us: Mike Obedoza, Matt Florentino, Chuck Cauton, and myself (Joel Buenavista).
It all started with me running into Chuck at a local shopping center and him asking me if I would be down to make a video with them. I wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity.
We all go back to about 1999… Mike as you all know is one of the greats (in my opinion) and I’m really proud of all his accomplishments that he’s made not only in the industry, but also in his carrer.
Matt and his tournament fishing partner and rollerblading legend, Randy Spizer are the current SWBA record holders (Team Face Down Bass Up – bass fishing).
Chuck is an established freelance tattoo artist who is also working side by side with Jug on upcoming products. And theres myself. I would of thought that “borrowing” my Dad’s old Hi-8 camcorder would have brought me to where I am today.
We all thought it would be best to visit one of our last living stomping grounds and bring it back proper. We all used to session this spot religiously so it was only right to shoot here.
I’m really proud everyones hard work that they put into this piece. As a group, we’ve always digged quality over quantity and I think it got through in this piece. Thanks to everyone in advance for taking the time to watch this. We all appreciate it!
On behalf of Mike, Matt, Chuck, and myself… Troubles finally here. -Joel Buenavista (1.2.12).
