What is really retarded about what dickface Firewire is that he would rather see some grind trick on the cover, when at the same time grinding is the MOST repeated, and over played aspect of skating, while Julio is doing something unique by also throwing in a DOPE wall ride w/ a steezed grab. He is actually progressing skating you fuckin DIPSHIT. Just for you I’ll remind myself to write Julio a letter explaining to him why he needs to stop continuing to advanced skating likes hes been doing for 15 years Which is probably as long as youve been around without having to have your moms why your ass for you!

I Grew UP watching JJ DOING every trick he does. from SOUL to FISH BRAIN to wall ride taping someting.
JJ is my hero man. This guy has already done lot and will still do for our sport.

first off. I’m 30 and I’m still hitting rails and improving my style and skill level. I really love competing against these new new school guys on their level as well as my own. that being said. Jon is like my hero. I started skating about 15 years ago and the things he could do on skates with the way he made it look easy was something that our world hadn’t seen yet. Now we have the Haffey’s and the Aragons but still. Valo 2 Jon’s switch rocket makio to rocket fishbrain down the down rail was sick as shit. Our biggest problem isn’t the disrespect but the lack of video and media content still available to watch. Most of jons videos were on Vhs which no one has anymore so those sick videos are now overlooked. I sometimes may think to myself why does this person like “The wedge” get so much attention but if you think about it, even if their skating style isn’t the “Shit”. That’s not the reason why the spotlight is on them in the first place. It’s what they brought to the game like the kindgrind which is one of the dopest tricks out there. The kids now-a- days don’t even know who Chris Edwards is or Rene “The Viking” Helgreen (Hope I spelled his name right), they don’t remember the “Roadhouse” the Matty Mantz, the Frankie lascavios Nicky Adams( the first and only Black Gold Champ for X games), or the Kill Team riders. They only know who’s on the Dvd’s in the past 4 years. The education and re-education of our history should be very important to everyone who rides and even more so to our children if we are going to teach them how to roll. So stop spewing your hate and start talking positive things into existence, Don’t say how tired you are of seeing someone bust a trick. Hell at least we have that someone. How tired are you of seeing Every store you walk into having a “Transworld, Big Brother, Skateworld, Skateboarding Magazine section and can’t even have a One mag in there. Or you find it supernaturally rare to had seen a Daily bread or Box magazine somewhere. You should be tired of seeing that. Not a trick. You should be tired of hearing people call us Fruitbooter or gayblade. I know I am. You should be tired of seeing Tony Hawk Games that are so disrespectful to our sport and community by making us out to be fags wearing spandex. Boycott that, get tired of that. You should be tired of always being able to find skateboarding on tv and never Rolling. I’m tired that Time Warner has A channel for cools sports and the only thing on there is skateboarding or biking sometimes. I say if we have a cover of someone doing a 180 off of a 2 stair that’s better than having to watch another X games without us in it. Or having to drive to Downtown LA and seeing a 9 story billboard of a skateboarder doing a trick none of them could never land and a biker doing the same yet we aren’t up there and we are the fathers of X games.
