I had this video memorized by the time I was 13 or 14! That section brings back memories of skating to spots with all my friends because we didn’t have a car to get places and CDS Detroit soulplates that I had to drill and mount into my Tarmac CE’s or just hanging out on a rainy day for the Niss or ASA to come on TV. Makes me feel old.

Yeh I know what you mean Rob C, watching these old skate vids brings back so many good memories of my teenage years, man I wish I had them back, haha I remember doing the CDS job on the back pat of my majestic 12’s, I felt like I had loads of soul space and could never miss any soul tricks, haha compared to nowadays we were grinding on nothing really.

Classic. I love it. What is really amazing is how far every aspect of the sport has progress in just 10 years.
Brings back a lot of memories!

yup… another one that is under my bed on VHS… I love seeing these old vids on here. I think 95 to 97 had to be the best time in rollerblading - maybe 98 too. Those were the best times of my life back then with friends skating all night long @ Purdue.

Watch it at 1:32, it almost resembles farmer’s run in accidental machines. history repeats itself
February 14th, 2008 at 8:21 am
ya it was dayton who breaks his ankle, dave ortega does the “holy rail”. I think i have this on a tape that has fast shoes on it too. both sick vids.
