im 87 and im not skating, because i cant. but these guys are good!
November 25th, 2007 at 7:22 pm
30 isn’t old. I’m thirty and so is Richie V., Arlo, Dustin, Jon J. Zamora, Latimer, A. Anderson of Able, and a whole lot of others. Skating isn’t defined as having a age to quit. You quit when you can’t take the pain anymore, when you would Die if you fall again. When you’re married to Alicia keyes or Jessica Alba and they tell you that they’ll do freaky things to you if you stop. :)

I’m 30 still skating… just yesterday a 14 year old girl commented to her mother out loud (we all heard her clearly) “look mom! old people in rollerblades!”.
Keep up goig! We’ll skate with our grand children one day!
November 26th, 2007 at 5:28 am
mariachi- I’ve heard the same shit from some stupid indy rock chicks in the East Village(NYC)….I replied with something very immature :-)
Just cause I’m old doesn’t mean you can be a dick…roll4life.
November 26th, 2007 at 7:40 am
i’m 26 and i still feel the love very deeply. shit, i can’t even imagine life without it. it’s like my whole personality will crumble to bits without that element. i don’t give a fuck and i don’t think i’ll be stopping for a long time. only problem is so many responsabilities, hard to make time for skating.
November 26th, 2007 at 10:44 am

November 26th, 2007 at 2:07 pm

whats the name of the song?
November 26th, 2007 at 3:23 pm
Most excellent. I’m around 27 now, kid on the way. You better believe that I’ll not be stopping anytime soon. Rolling is simply too much fun. Good to see that I’m not the only ” old man” out here though. We’ve got a few more old men in our dutch scene…mostly this just means that they’re quite good since they’ve gotten loads of practise.

I must admit, this stuff makes me laugh. I just started rollin a couple years ago, at a late age. I have suffered through the jokes, and the injuries and now I am feeling my style coming along.
When I first started, I use to ask my friends how you do that trick and this trick. They didn’t know how to explain it, they just did it. They were around 13-17 at the time. Me being older I had to figure it out, and in doing so I fell less. So it’s not all about pain, it’s about the love. So how can one stop.
I am 42 or something like that, I forget sometimes, and I am a proud roller. Those who know me now whats up. :)
