I’m not a rollerblader, but I came on this board to ask a question…
Isn’t tony hawk meant to have been in this competition?
I know he did the first 900 on rollerblades, but it seems now he is just coasting off this fame since 1999.
Tony Hawk? HAH! more like Tony Dork! You rollerbladers have a bad leader and role model. Perhaps you will someday be able to be a proper sport such as tennis or basketball.

Nice comp and all but why organize something and make it so uneventful. These are fkn pros, can’t we just watch them fuck shit up on better spots?! Horrible spots for pros to skate dammit!
The reason why I watch videos on this crappy blog is to get inspired and make me want to skate.
Definitely limiting i’d say. Despite that, its definitely cool to see that pros bladed these weak spots.

don pitt how is tennis or basketball any better than rollerblading just because it has more coverage and p.s tennis is for rich white men and i bet yours shit at every sport bitch
September 25th, 2012 at 11:58 pm
Dustin Halleran could win that comp just by putting his skates on, that’s how sick he is.
September 26th, 2012 at 12:19 am
Are half of you kids three quarters retarded??? How many times do you need to read they were un-able to get permits to hold this contest anywhere else? NYC isn’t some fucking po-dunk TX town where you show up to the county fair with a home made pie for the council members and you get permit and an Andy Griffith autograph. I agree, the park is a less than ideal place for the competition, but people threw down, there was a hell of a fucking turn out and it looked like a great fucking time. There are some little bitches on this forum.

Also, this edit was MUCH better than the first one that came out for this comp… that one was a fucking mess.

In the words of Nas, Dustin Halleran is like all races combined in one man.

boy did that suck ass. rollerblading is deteriorating at a rapid rate. gonna go watch my IMYTA NYC dvd and relive the good old days.
September 26th, 2012 at 6:22 am
The final spot was insulting. rollerblading in the U.S. is officially dead.
September 26th, 2012 at 6:50 am
STFU all you lil rollerfags ! 5K is A LOT of fucking money to make in 1 day :)
That was a proper contest and showcased what can be done on skates. All the tricks looked clean as fuck and super dope.
Spots weren’t the best but showed the heart of skating and having fun with it.
P.S. Dustin Halleran beat Chuck Norris is a down hill roller blading contest <– trust story
