Man it was such bullshit when I was at nitro. That jake brown got more props for stacking a 360 than haffey did for his huge double flatty, and then the whole time in his run they were making jokes about rollerbladers. FUCK HATERS

phil the entire point of making fun of him was to prove that in reality it was sick and shut down the stereotypes. Don’t you remember how they STARTED with jokes, but ended up with props? Haffey dominated both skateboarders and that scooter guy, which was just damn pathetic in comparison. In Brisbane he got more cheers than most other athletes. He should be hitting that ramp with the rest of the BMX and skateboarders, which he might be based on the positive feed back he keeps receiving.

There was NO HATE, it was an orchestrated take the piss staged show where they made fun of Haffey and a scooter guy before they hit the ramp, then the two of them shut down the stereotype by doing crazy shit. And the two announcers gave them props after their 2nd and 3rd jumps Don’t be so fucking cry baby pee pants over it. Thats the proper way to do it, bring up lame stereotypes and have them shoved back in everyones faces. OWNED!

Skateboarding is sick just like blading is. No need to bash each other sports. We just have to show people that blading is dope and we can do ill shit. I am huge into playing basketball and I could really care less for baseball. But I dont go around talking shit about it I respect that it is a sport that is very hard to be dominant at also.
