To be fare, lots of people get off on all this “life style” crap especially of the hip-hop variety. I don’t think this is really hurting the sport, all it’s doing is maintaining another style, which allows for more variety, and allows for more people to skate who belong to a different style category.
There are millions of these wanna be gangster guys, we should try and get all of them to skate, then we could save the industry…

Rollerblading moved on people, look at the jon jon and shima FREE nimh edit or the ONE video and realise that nobody in the wider ecosystem of skating wants to watch a fake, superficial life of balling and high-rolling skaters.

the reason the rollerblading industry is so bad is because of all the hate going on.

Looked to me like these guys were having fun. This isnt a “wannabe thug” trailer, this is what Rollerblading has been for the better part of the last 10 years. I miss this type of entertainment during blading videos. It is nice to see that some bladers are still enjoying life and everything it has to offer. The female form has been celebrated for hundreds of years and when girls are down to showcase their beauty in the name of Blading it is rad. I didnt realize there were so many feminist bladers, how sad. Thanks LA for not being on some fuck shit. This should be a rad video.

I don’t remember anyone hating on Bryan Bell for the content in his videos so I don’t know why we need to hate on these guys. They are plenty of people who really DO live this lifestyle. Like it has been said this video totally made me think of B Bell and Joe Navran’s videos back in the day. Although I personally don’t live that lifestyle I totally dig what rachard and those guys are doing with this video. It’s a fun change of pace to see a video with good skating but also giving you the sense that these guys are out there having fun. Diversity in skating is awesome and helps grow the sport and people hating on it because it’s “outdated” and “not what rollerblading is now” are idiots. This IS rollerblading. It may not be the rollerblading that is the hip or cool thing but it is part of our sport nonetheless. Grow up, accept it, and learn to appreciate it just like most kids have grown to accept and appreciate the tight pants fad.

Yo, don’t be all about hatin, puttin an edit like that together really takes time and inspiration. If you haters think you’re better, put your words into skatin and you try making a better edit. Sittin on your asses and commenting on someones work is easy, but skating and filming all that is much harder believe me. They live what you only dream of living.
