NIMH Skates : More details

NIMH is a high end boot hand designed by Brian Shima, and manufactured with precision and detail. This skate is made to perform at a professional level.
Free Groove System
The NIMH soul plate is designed to adapt to your personal skating style. Most skate companies lock you into a pre-set groove….NIMH does not. We advise skating a mildly waxed ledge for 1-3 hours to create your own custom groove.
Unconstrained Toe System
All NIMH skates come with a standard boot skeleton minus the excess of toe material found in most other brands. This allows for more breathing room and eliminates toe pain while skating.
NIMH is 100% skater owned and operated. This company was created by skaters for skaters and will be run accordingly. Its time you choose your side!

A boot minus toe material, that means your toe’s are vulnerable as fu.ck? I sure hope that there will be at least some toe-protection. Other than that I’m very curious about the official release.

okay lets see, the k2, Deshi, xsjado and new rollerblade’s have no toe support and you’re whining about these. let’s face it. Those of you who worry on write in because you’re bored at home and want to do somethng. the system works and has been working. the fact that they have a groove that you can make is perfect since It takes me a long time to customize my groove in the gayzors I once tode and the Deshi’s I ride now. Big up’s for Brian and Jon and the rest of the team who supports them. I know that the picture we saw isn’t the final product so I wonder what color it will actually come in and also what changes have they made to the skate itself.

Whoa, Settle down now Perris. Stop taking so many e pills and come back down to planet earth. Since when do you get the idea to start bringing up racist organizations into a fucking conversation about skates. “It’s time you choose sides” has been used in countless movies and can be used as a form of Marketing. Which side do you want to be on, the side of the skater owned skater operated or the side of big business who doesn’t care about us side. I think someone wasn’t held enough by their mother when they were young.

“Choose your side” in reference to this being a corporate as hell industry……and them being feircly independent.

I’ll support this skate, I will buy this skate, and hopefully I will be able to do an in depth review of the whole boot. I have nothing but high hopes for this skate.

uhh the backwards flex doesnt look too great…
i’m a big fan of the new sagona type v cut liners and cuff on the new USDs because they really do make all the difference when bending down to jump on to something high
these actually look higher in the back, doesnt anyone else think thats whack?
