That was fucking solid and not a tap… if there was more rail left he would have still been on it, you can see by his positioning. He was on properly and fully topside. He committed, he did not just throw his feet on in any manner, knowing he’d be off in a second.

Nice, very solid. People hate on spin to win grind tricks not because they can’t do them but because they’re easy tricks. Yep I said it spin to grinds are easy. People who cant do them are the ones who think they are hard but once you’ve learned one you’ve learned them all. EX: you learn 360 soul,logical progression 450 royale next 540 kind grind so on and so on. EASY
A hard spin to grind trick would be 450 grabbed BS backslide to sweatstance.

Lots of jealous bladers on here. You cannot do this trick on a rail, on a ramp, on a curb, anything, even if you had a whole month to perfect it rather than having to pull it out of the bag on the spot like in this clip. If you can do it, film it and post it here. If you’ve seen another pro do it, the same applies.
The trick is fresh and done with style. He rode the rail from the landing point as far down as it goes – probs slid about 3 meters of rail. Gotta respect that.

That was fucking legit. Anyone who says otherwise is a moron. It was tapped because he was skating fast. Spin tricks are not easy. Especially when you start getting beyond a 450.
I’m not a fan of spin to win comps, just because they can get dull. But Adding another rotation to something is literally pushing the limits. Would you rather he had just done and AO topsoul? No. A fakie 360 AO topsoul is harder, and a 540 AO topsoul is SUBSTANTIALLY harder than that. Especially on a hand rail like obstacle.
