i love how Beiber had that top acid/tru mizou clip editted so it looked like he landed. NICK WOOD, a real skater, put that editing fake landings into clips on blast back in TEACH THEM WELL. this kid’s not skating as hard at his age as top pros were skating at that age. overrated.

I’m American but I can definitely say that the best new talent is all coming out of Europe. It just feels like the scene over there has all the energy the US used to have. Nils is putting out top notch stuff.

It seems to me that Nils made a list of what every pro has that others don’t, he trained hard (probably 2 or 3 days) and made an edit summing all that up. This section just blew my mind, thanks for that Nils, and also mad respect to his brother (I think ?) for editing it that well.
Plus the music, which is not my style at all, fitted perfectly and that hardspin fishbrain came out of nowhere.

The wrs uploaded edit was set to a 60 sec time limit. This edit is probably what the editor had in the works before the comp. There were definitely some high quality tricks added that couldn’t make the uploaded comp. Made respect to Nils. He’s well on his way to being an all time great.

Very nice I like. And to all haters out there! Stop talking shit! Nils is really good and as you all know got some mad skills! You seen all clips at WRS-not! And still new clips are fucking sick like this jump at dirt track! So what that all pros did tricks long time ago, and some of them still doing it, now it’s his time to show his skills let him do that! He’s good material for being PRO and I hope that his sponsors will notice that and give him chance in future to be show more of his skills and spend some more money for his travels! As somebody said being PRO is to represent for long time. Nils is doing that since I know him (like 4/5 years) and he is geting better and better! So for sure in our sport he can be someone that you all will know as great skater! Nils you are fucking awsome! And Martins you are one of best photographers out there!

And let’s face it US skating is or for few more years will be better than European couse of history of this sport. But I like to belive that everyone got some influance on this sport no matter that he is European or Us, South America, Australia or Japan. Ofcours there are icons like all Pros form Us but for me Horn or Silan or Chaz Sands, Dominik Wagner are one of best skaters out there! And why we are all keeping this fitght between US and othere nations? Everybody no matter form where they are is doing what they love and trying to make it beeter in there own opinion! rollerblading favors old washed up skaters who have “paid their dues” and have no balls left and little talent. another reason why rollerblading is fucked up and is losing to other extreme sports who promote their MOST TALENTED skaters, whether young or old. Nils is better than most of the “pros” on any skate company team, which is why he won fan favorite. WRS was afraid to hold a real comp this year for fear Nils and Julien would kick American ass.

Instead of hating on other skaters, why don’t people just appreciate the raw talent (and balls) this kid has. It could matter less where you’re from or if you’re a tech skater or a big drop rail, hammer gap skater… that’s what makes our sport different from all the others – within it there are many different styles – all which deserve respect. Take a step back and listen to your self hate on fellow rollerbladers and the sport you “love”….. Now go skate and STFU

The positive comments are so cool to see in the small community, but it is insane when there are almost as many negative ones. If you forget where you came from, you will keep falling in the same places.
It’s cool there are a bunch of old skaters coming back, because they do need to drink less, and smoke less, and educate the younger ones about what happened when all of the corporations jumped on skating.
It’s even better that the new talent like Nils, seems to have their heads on straight, and I cannot wait until one day he runs Remz, or is carrying the torch after some of the legends flames have burned out.
And I know he will most likely be a great influence for the next gen after him. Things take time, and I hope all of you out there are skating and making the most of the time we have now.
