January 10th, 2008 at 11:52 am
Jordan, it’s a prototype still. But this one is more likely to represent the final product than the pics we saw of brent hicks sporting them.
January 10th, 2008 at 11:56 am

I wish i could see that happening… :D / source?
January 10th, 2008 at 11:58 am
Those new razors mold really looks like combination of genesys and cult.

January 10th, 2008 at 12:14 pm
They look nice! It’s exactly what they said it’s going to be. I hope they’re lightweight, because they sure look kinda heavy.
Now Razors, dare to bring out some more color mixture.

January 10th, 2008 at 5:44 pm
bigga shit
January 10th, 2008 at 5:54 pm
they look all right but the back side plate looks kind of on the small side to me.
January 10th, 2008 at 6:34 pm
I Feel bad for u mariachi82 it really pisses me of how they hide things to sell skates off.
This is good e.g why you should hold youre horses and wait a bit.
Well I hope u can get those skates also:)
January 10th, 2008 at 6:34 pm
not heavy AT ALL. i put the size 9 prototype that was set up with jugs, 56mm’s, the GC antis and DI’s on a scale last year and it was exactly 4 lbs (1.82kg)- super lightweight! probably the lightest full hardboot ever made. and still super solid, with nice thick souls and backslide plates. super excited for these to come out.
January 10th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
Amazing. I’m definitely glad Razors took the time to perfect this boot rather than re-releasing badly prototyped versions to generate revenue, ala Xsjado/Deshi.
January 10th, 2008 at 7:41 pm
They do look sick, but they also look like Cults with chunkier soulplates
Hopefully they’ll skate good, they’ve had enough time to test them!
January 10th, 2008 at 7:44 pm
there is no aesthetic taste at all, I am sure they will skate sick but look horrible, the soulplate doesn’t match with the shell, are you sure is not the new anarchy boot? :S Seems a boat with a frame to me.
January 10th, 2008 at 9:09 pm
the Xsjado, outside of the cuff-snapping problem, is one of the most thoroughly-tested, defect-free yet revolutionary skates ever made for our sport… i don’t know where anyone gets off comparing them to Deshi.
they look a lot like Cults because the internal shape (and thus the fit) is based on the Cult shell- just with a shock absorber to provide the heel rise instead of the shell. which is good because the Cults fit very well.
the soul and backslide system on this skate is simply awesome, super thick/durable, just the right size/shape, and lightweight.
i personally think they look sick. granted they’re no flashy bells-and-whistle skate cosmetically, but i’ve always preferred plainer skates. i’d rather be seen as cool (haha as if that’s ever going to happen) because i’m skating well (in a plain skate that performs better) than because my skates look cool (flashy but poorer-performing skates).

Like they said they were going to do…
January 10th, 2008 at 9:34 pm
The Xsjado frames were tested appallingly, which is what I was ‘getting off’ when I made the apt comparison between their product and the Deshi skate. You snob.

to Al Dolega:
WHEN THEY ARE OUT???
Thanks
January 10th, 2008 at 9:34 pm
i dont like razors but those look sick.
January 10th, 2008 at 11:38 pm

January 10th, 2008 at 11:47 pm
can’t wait, those look so dope.
January 10th, 2008 at 11:49 pm
TO EVERYONE:
Spira said that the Aragon 2 boots will drop in march.
January 11th, 2008 at 12:12 am
Sick. SUPER SICK. I am actually excited to get these for when the snow melts…provided I am in the country long enough to skate on them this summer……
January 11th, 2008 at 12:32 am
they look sick. i love the classic razors overall, and i like the genesys somewhat, but these seem to take the best from both molds and combine them.
but don’t get your hopes about about release dates, since our industry is so small orders get delayed all the time.
jeromy morris was riding the original murda genesys boots at lake owen a year before they came out. i remember asking him when they were gonna be released and he said he had no clue.
January 11th, 2008 at 1:07 am
looks good. the soul plate loooks interesting, maybe stupid, wats point of having another plate on toe. dont know yet though.
looks a bit like that other old photo of wat ppl thought was going to be the new aragons.
Lookin less chunky, thats good. loks alot like wat they were sayin the Aragons were gonna be.
January 11th, 2008 at 1:12 am
Look sick. loving the soul plates so far. a lot better than those ”fin” plates the conference is loving these days.
January 11th, 2008 at 2:24 am
OMFG!
No words…
My next skate

“TO EVERYONE:

O RLY?
January 11th, 2008 at 10:51 am
George: this post is about a boot and your comment definitely sounded like it was referring to boots, not frames. i fully agree that the Mook should have been tested much more thoroughly… at least with the 1.6 and after they got them right (in time for the boot to drop with them). i don’t see how my opinion makes me a snob but if it must be so, fine.
i’ve heard spring (march/april) for the release, but i have no idea what the model, color, or frame/liner/wheel setup will be.
Razors never, ever said the Icons would be last Genesys-style skate, by the way… they only said it would be the last pro-model Genesys. the new boot will be the high-end/pro models, the Genesys will become the mid-range skate, and the Cults will continue to be one of the best values in rollerblading.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:00 am
I like that, the bs plate is certainly over groove. That was the shit that I have always hated in razors.
January 11th, 2008 at 6:33 pm
hahah fair dues mr. dolega
January 12th, 2008 at 2:45 am
This is exactly what i wanted))) yay!
they look sick as
January 13th, 2008 at 8:30 pm
could this be a brent hicks boot? he is the only person on the razorskate site that is skating the prototype boot?
January 14th, 2008 at 6:19 am
first model of this boot is rumored to be the Aragon 2 skate… with GC;s and Jugs and M1 (logo) wheels, i’d expect. I doubt you’ll see Brent get a skate anytime soon, i wouldn’t expect Bambi to get a pro skate before the end of this year at the soonest and he’s already on the pro team.
January 20th, 2008 at 10:11 pm
wrong, chaz sands was skating a prototype yesterday….
