Yeah, he’s an incredible skater, but he’s quite a dick. Never goes skating with Shima even though he lives 5 minutes away from him, saying tight pants wearing kids are bringing down the sport and won’t last. I wonder if he’ll be interviewed in Barely Dead, or if he’s too much of a fucking snob for that, too.

He’s right if he really said tight pants bring rollerblading down..I feel the same way, tight pants look awful with rollerblades since skates are big and bulky it just doesn’t look right. Tight pants are trendy atm so people saying stuff like their unique and they wear them because they follow their own style is BS. Rollerblading is full of followers, remember when Latimer had a pony tail for awhile then all of a sudden everyone had some awful looking pony tail also. I’m hoping this tight pant/nerd trend doesn’t last much longer..

At least now people can at least pull it off somewhat instead of making us look like carpet making sweatshop workers.
The tight pants/bagginess thing isnt much of a debate anymore, as people are just starting to wear whatever is comfortable for them. Just casual whatever clothes.
The clothing debate shouldn’t even be a debate, why is it such a focal point for rollerblading? THAT is whats killing it.

Tight pants with rollerblades look very gay, plus it ruins the style of the skater’s wearing them. You think kids in middle school/high school are going to want to take up rollerblading when they see guys in in these tight little clothes? NO freakin way, unless they want people to talk shit about them non stop. I don’t know why its so hard for kids these days to find a normal pair of pants that aren’t hangin off their ass or skin tight? Most of you kids wearing them will find out when your older how stupid they look and that there aint no style in them.

If you watch Shima’s thank yous at the end of Leading the Blind, he says “thanks to Mike Johnson for never skating with me even though you live 5 minutes from my house”.
He was being sarcastic, in case you didn’t catch that.

1. debate seriously about which clothes are more “rolling” whether theyre daisy dukes or hammer pants.
2. argue over what brian and mike have about each other even though you dont really know, and noone really cares including them.
3. are trendier than pacific sun and hot topic mini mall.

This isn’t new news at all, these profiles are not only old but have been on his myspace for a while as well sas youtube. Dont get me wrong the sections r really good but this isn’t anything new and secondly when the hell did rolling become a fucking fashion show, If Murda really said that shit and feels that way and wont skate with shima over the pants he wears, then hes a fucking fool, why should you care what anyone else wears, all that should be judged is how well you skate your style as a skater is not dependent upon what clothes you wear
