   why does Garlinghouse wear a helmet anytime he has skates on, does he got a soft spot or something? I aint hating, dudes got mad skills, im just wondering because it seems unnecessary for most of his street antics…..better safe than sorry maybe?

   one possible answer is… why not?
   another might be he knows someone who has been seriously injured…. looking cool isnt worth brain damage/death. though these things are not probable they are possible. ive weighed the options and i see the chamce of head damage low enough to decide id rather look cool. he chose otherwise.
   maybe his hair gets in his eyes?

   just some possibilities

   Note is an amazing skater!!! i remember skating with him back in 1999 asian X-games, he did an amaing flatspin 540 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mt0Pnm4uqQ, hope to see the thai skate crew soon, as i’ll be moving there i’n june…..

   Am I the ONLY one that hates Michael Garlinghouse’s style? He’s got SOME tricks, I’ll give him that, but I’ve really never seen ANYTHING from him, that stood out and was like “memorable” if you will, from his skating.

   Can’t understad ur criticising Michael for wearing a helmet. Wearing a healmet unfortunately takes alot of courage now a days since no1 else wears it.
   Major props to Michael for being a rolemodel!!

   im not criticizing by any means, i put my helmet on when im trying new or bigger shit at the parks regularly, im just commenting that i almost never see him out of one, even if hes playing around on a knee high ledge….i have gone down so hard when i was younger that i destroyed the impact foam in a pryme helmet and i can still type about it so i asure you im not being critical…just curious

    KillaC, you are not alone on hating Garlinghouse’s style, almost everyone, if not everyone I skate with think he’s a joke. How he is skating around with the best skaters in the world is beyond me. Hey, as for the helmet, you are playing a huge part in making rollerblading look even gayer than it already is, man up, you faggot.

    on Garlinghouse… i hate his skating, there is nothing impressive from him that i have seen. i could do all of his tricks. and really if you have seen my edit on here you know that im really not that great. the only reason that he is even sponsored by anyone is simply because he knows the right people. i dont think he even deserves this little interview…

    on the helmet note, good for you for wearing one. my friend jeremy almost died while we were filming our video just from smacking his head just right on the ground. that is no joke. more people (including myself) should wear their helmets more often.

    oh yeah, and Boonnim is SICK!!!!

    It took me a while to like Michael’s skating but he really has grown on me. Those mistrials of his are better than anyone else’s. Pretty damn stylish if you ask me.
